@Steve Robertson Deceived (his book) is trash tbh. The only good parts were him attacking Coruscant (just watch the trailer for this) and the ending.

Lockjaw it wouldn't have been weak. They needed the combined might of the republic and the Empire to beat him. He had like 2 weeks to prepare and bam enough army for an empire
He didn't believe in the empire's racism. That alone made him a beacon. As many species would join the Empire but don't do to the fact the Empire hates aliens
Malgus was a great leader. He even aknowledged the empires weaknesses like racism and began to form a much stronger and efficient empire. And he put Mandalorians in his army. That alone made his empire 3 times better.
Darth malgus rocks. Disney should do a trilogy with this guy.

True enough. Malgus is a BAMF. Great character. Though if any ancient Sith Lord gets a movie it will likely be Bane, the one who created the rule of two and the only one that is canon... I think; I mean he appeared as a force ghost to Yoda in SW: The Clone Wars on CN, sooo maybe? But who knows with Disney, they seem to be butchering the E.U. and creating some twisted SW Frankenstein monster from the pieces.

He should've been in this Star Wars trilogy as the one behind the scenes.

Malgus has by far the coolest llooking armour of all sith. He looks like the defenition of a sith warrior.
We love Malgus's armor for sure! But my favorite is Darth Revan's.

Like in the new trilogy? That’d be amazing! It would not only bring back a badass character, but would immediately canonize the Old Republic. Imagine, Kylo Ren somehow finds Malgus’ body frozen in carbonite and decides to free him with the foolish goal of trying to make him serve him. Then, the movie would end with Kylo Ren teaming up with the resistance to kill Malgus once and for all.
C. Lamp there is a super rare 5 seconds clip for Swtor in which we see him in Carbonite.

They really should make everything related to KOTOR and KOTOR 2 canon because they are thousands of years in the past of the Star Wars universe. Decanonizing them and replacing them with games that won't be up to par with KOTOR will anger a lot of people. People are already upset about The Last Jedi ruining the new canon.

Malgus killed his wife, a twilek, because he loved her so much, that she was his weakness. He killed her because he knew that she could be used against him. This destroyed him emotionally but made him stronger. Such a Sad story :(

Unfortunately it won't happen for a Star Wars movie.
He couldn't be. First, there is no Star Wars info telling about anyone who have come out from being frozen in carbonite after 3 thousand years. Secondly, Darth Malgus had respratory problems resulting in him wearing a mask. Snok has disfigurment up & down along side half of his head.
Thirdly, Darth Malgus was a powerful force welder, never wore jewlery (that we know of) where unlike Snok has wealth and that gaudy looking black stone ring from which he suposedly gets his suposed power from.
With all this I am going to have to disagree. I'll wait for the movie to see more about Snok.

The next movies really should cover the stories from KotOR and SWTOR, those universes are so untouched yet, and if they don't place an allmighty Mary Sue like Rey into these movies, they would be fucking awesome
I like how so many of these with never really died and/or could be brought back like Malgus could be unfrozen, someone could put on darts nihlus mask, it’s just always a cliffhanger that all these with could come back to fight
A Vader and Malgus team up would be badass
They could have made Snoke the reincarnated Malgus. The remnant Empire find Malgus when the escape into the unknown regions and wake him up. It would even fit with the idea of Snoke not being a sith as Malgus rebelled against the sith empire too. And he is also very very old.
That actually would be pretty cool. Not to mention it would make sense with Snoke's facial scarring.

The Malgus in carbonate idea was scrapped, he appeared in the onslaught and legacy of the sith expansions. This may be his real rate in future media tho.

Darth Malgus was a fanatical frontline duelist and Sith Lord that lived 5000 years before the events of Anakin and Darth Vader. He was frozen into carbonite when he declared his own Sith Empire and later has been unfrozen and is still alive
I love how they kept him in Carbonite. Means his introduction into canon will make sense

Darth Malgus is a great warrior & would be a great subject, to base a movie on.
I watched all the cut scenes for the old republic/sith legacy games and was blown away by it. It explained so much from the recent films, it seems so compelling this story line, I hope they do films of them!!
Imagine a world where Disney didn’t mess up and instead of Rey they gave us the Jedi order under Luke skywalker as grandmaster with Ben solo going bad and unknowingly releasing Malgus from his carbonite sleep
It's always cool to see how different each leader of Sith look like. Malgus is definitely the Sith Warrior. Darth Vader is the killing machine, and other sith are power hungry in the force itself. Malgus seemed to be more of a fighter than a force user.

Astro Blakk For context the war they were in lasted for 40 long years. This war brought about some of the largest fleets, deadliest of weapons, and some of the most powerful Jedi and Sith Lords the galaxy has ever seen ( such as the dread lords). That managed to devastate the entire galaxy itself. So in essence, it’s not that unbelievable for the Empire to try and make peace with the republic.
