Idea: 08/12/26, 03:21:45 in the afternoon - Some of the people who have died as a result of the soundwaves are currently buried at a local cemetery near Jacksonville. Many people are occupying the cemetery viewing the graves of their dead. When suddenly, what seems like an arm rapidly shoots out of a grave and grabs a bystander's leg. The bystander screams in horror as a body rises out of the grave with tattered clothing. The mouth of the body gives off a screech noise like that of the sound that killed them jn ghe first place. Many people who hear the noise fall, then rise back to life with what seems like a dark fluid gargling out of their mouths. The same screech sound that the body that rose out of the grave made is then echoed throughout the cemetery, turning people into slaves of screeches. The Center for Disease Control notices multiple people behaving the same way at 05:31:12 that same afternoon, and activates the EAS. Suddenly, one of the stations broadcasting the EAS gets overridden by the 'soundwave zombies' which then scream the screech sound into a microphone at the station, which broadcasts it and results in most of Jacksonville being turned into nothing more than earrape. The EAS is once again activated but this time under a private station connection. This time, the alert type is an EAN calling for all people in the state of Florida to evacuate within a 1 hour time period. Soon, the screeches get louder and louder. Then by 07:16:59, the entire state of Florida is thrown into an immediate State of Emergency. The only safe place now is the Keys. At 08:04;17, the screeches spread beyond Florida borders and stretch across the U.S.A. At this point, a National Emergency is declared. Everyone is urged to head to the West Coast or just completely evacuate, as the screech virus continues to spread, and at this point, the virus has reached and contaminated Delaware. Major airports are being crowded to the brim with people who are getting onto emergency service flights to Los Angeles. By 10:05:07, the virus comes to New York. New York City is overthrown with people who have dark fluids dripping down their chins, the same scene is shown in other major populus centers along the Northeast. Now, most of East U.S.A. is considered a complete loss. And that is it. Thanks for reading my mega comment
Some Criticism: I found the EAS idea pretty enjoyable. Soundwaves of Death is pretty cool, but my main problem is how the guy went from killing people immediately to launching nuclear warheads. It just seemed kind of eye-rolling from the guy avoiding a super manhunt, to him escaping, releasing a virus, and then finally blowing up 10 whole ass cities. It seemed like a wasted opportunity of a cool idea. I think what would've been preferable was to play on the idea of soundwaves more. First have it so Edward Walsh was messing with frequencies that could inconvenience devices, causing them to be on the fritz, or explode even. Then it could escalate to frequencies that give humans symptoms of severe discomfort, causing humans on the road to become distracted/disoriented that they crash from severe headaches or nausea. And then, comes the killer deathwaves, killing people within seconds of hearing it on the radio or T.V. The first occurrence would probably be in one city, two, or maybe even three before just... Stopping. They try to track down the signal, but ultimately, there was nothing to find... This whistle must be the last sound a human would hear before their ear drums explode. I don’t think surviving this sound is possible. My ear drums will melt if this event actually happened. OOF! I’ve seen a few comments talking about how sometimes the EAS Messages are less realistic than could be, but I’d much rather the civil authority tell me I will outright be dead if I do/don’t do XYZ if it’s actually that important.
Jacksonville area resident here. The police in the city are the Jacksonville Sheriffs Office, since the city and county are merged into one large governmental entity. Not bad a video, but just wanted to correct the error.
If you have an iPhone please turn it on and raise the volume to it's loudest level and insert your Air Pods as deep as possible so they cannot be removed.

The idea is aged like wine. Some criticism though. Ed Walsh couldn't fire nuclear rockets without a VP, or a President code. Even if he did have those, those are verified through an extensive process, making it difficult for the perpetrator to strike countries that the perp doesn't like and start WW3. Sadly, or thankfully, Japan is the only country to date that was hit with a nuclear weapon. I don't think that you can interrupt EAS. You can transmit your own message, by tampering with equipment, like modifying firmware with a backdoor or something like that. But you can interrupt TV and radio station signals. This explains that around 2000 people are reported dead. Another thing to note that the soundwaves of death are called that because due to the DC offset with tight and loud compression, it can blow the speakers out. That's why every device that has a speaker can kill people. But it's not really possible due to different soundchips doing limiting differently to prevent the said speaker blowout.
