Tip for cake pops in the future: use candy melts instead of white chocolate. They melt to liquid really nicely and it is easier to dip in liquid chocolate for smooth surface. Also you can use a double boiler to melt them without worrying about them burning. They will harden pretty quickly either on the counter or in the fridge. Elise is super skilled at baking! All the desserts looked so good :)

when melting chocolate, it helps to add a spoonful of Crisco. That makes the chocolate silky and easy to work with. Also, melt the chocolate at 30 second intervals, stirring in between.

I love how Elise loves to bake and a tip to get the chocolate melts easier to drip is you can use just a little coconut oil in the chocolate! Hope this helps

next time have elise put some coconut oil in the chocolate. it will make the chocolate more runny

Omg such good parents and respectful kids my step dad ( my dad left me 😢) would have made me finish baking not play with my friends also when Caleb was eating marshmallows out of the cabinet with Elise’s clothes on (not this vid) Jeremy just said not to and made him put them back without yelling and making Caleb understand not to do it again in the same vid when Caleb was hiding under the table Kendra didn’t yell but just said she found Caleb .So hard to find examples such good kids still remember when Laura was 4/5 years old they grew up to be such respectful children with such loving parents ❤

Love the cake balls and I love to make them. No need for a stick you can just drop them in like buckeyes they will just have a flat bottom but less waste and they still taste great, plus you can just pop them in your mouth! Also the balls may have been a bit too big. Otherwise they looked great and I may go make some now 😅 also melting chocolate I think is different. Btw I loved this I grew up playing soccer and I always had soccer cakes! Also for the field cake the cake pan can act as the field lines !

The problem was you are supposed to buy a special chocolate called almond bark. It is Super smooth and easy to work with when it comes to cake balls. But still amazing job.
