Although I hate using iOS, at least they're consistent with their product, whether it's hardware or software in the camera too. Apart from a few zoom shots, Apple does a lot better than both in photos and especially in videos. They don't really have an advantage in the camera department either, which they're known for being the best at.

Personally, I'm a big fan of the new design I prefer it over the 6 classic. As for price , I can't believe there's any surprise at the price point , titanium frame , duel GPS, bigger battery , better processor, better design , and more rugged looking even the strap looks like it blends in a lot better. I'm quite happy to trade my 6 classic in for the 7 ultra. They could have just copied apple and made a square one, thank God they didn't. The market it's aimed at is not the average user who would normally buy the standard watch . I have been hoping samsung would make an ultra version

This watch better be buttery smooth and flawless for that price. Especially when pixel watch is so much smoother with the same software e for less money.
Well we do have a choice after all. There are 3 models I believe or wait till the price drops as it has with the Watch 6 Classic. And we still don't know much about the specs.....battery life and so on and so forth and if it has new sensors eg a blood glucose monitor. If people buy the Fold well then those people will pay anythng to get the latest and greatest. BTW the Galaxy watch 6 Classic 47 mm is about 257 euros (276 dollars), depends where you get it from and I am really tempted.

Love the new design of the Watch Ultra, like literally obsessed with the circle meets square (Both the design and the fact that it means room for a much bigger battery), but I agree with you, the white does not look good
It looks absolutely hideous, plus if they want to copy Apple, why not copy all of it or at least be comparable to it? Apart from being bigger, it doesn't look good or have anything special going for the huge price tag. Maybe a few sensor extras, that's all. Not a Samsung hater bit; that's the reality we've seen of Samsung in the last few years since DJ Koh left the Mobile Division.
They probably see their pricing strategy as worth it since it could be that the Ultra watches will only come out every other year and we'll get a Watch 8 classic next year instead.

The price for the Watch 7 Ultra isn't as bad for me because they offered to hive me $350 for my older Watch 5 Pro. Not a bad deal for me.
I like how Watch 7 ultra look like esspecialy black. However, the price shocked me. It is very high. I guess we will see everything soon. Goid idea for a ring case. It looks really nice.

My Galaxy Watch 6 Classic 47mm was lagging when i set it up.
The only watch i can truly say it does NOT lag and is pretty smooth is the Gear S2 with Tizen. That's sad.
The Classic series has always looked like a proper watch.
This Ultra now looks like a luxury watch.

They're pulling a fold....keeping the ultra price high for simpletons willing to pay it day 1, and will do their usual 50% off sales when it's sitting in warehouses collecting dust like usual not too long after launch. I don't know why people are shocked by launch prices anymore when this happens year after year..its a marketing tactic. The square design is probably to fit a larger battery.

Apple watch looks better its not even close. What were their design team thinking. Watch 6 classic is still the best looking watch on the market and I advise people to pick that one instead. Goes well with any casual business look and the circular design makes it blend to the eye and appears like a regular watch.

I've owned the Watch 5 Pro since its release, and it has proven to be extremely durable.

What I meant for the Apple Watch Pro was that it's meant for extreme sports like diving, snow sports, and other extreme environments where standard watches aren't rated for. I would hope for that price the GW Ultra is similarly rated

I own a Galaxy watch 5 pro, and really look forward to the 7. I am ready to ditch the watch, swap it for the ring and go back to my automatic watch if pricing for the Ultra is true.
Competition between Apple and Samsung only benefits the customers. They try to outdo each other but we rip the benefits. So let them go at it. I personally like the Samsung galaxy 7 Ultra. But that's my taste. That's what I mean by we reap the benefits. Because if you like Apple then go for it. If you don't then there's Samsung and many other companies. So please just because you like one more than the other that doesn't give you the right to dump on others that don't share your enthusiasm for a particular brand.

This shape is a larger copy of the 2017 Samsung Gear Sport except it looks like the circular bezel is fixed, rather than turning, judging by the single triangular marking at the top. If it's turning and the orange button is in addition I'll get one. If it doesn't turn Samsung repeats their old mistakes, and I'll pass.
If so then I will keep my watch 6 classic
The ultra watch needs to have rotating bezel to justify the small circle design & high price

I currently have the galaxy watch 6 classic. I use to track workouts sleep and notifications. The software just isn't smooth at all. I really want to love it but it's buggy and has a really bad user experience. I wish they could deliver even half the performance and smoothness of an apple watch

Everyone that's complaining about Samsung coping Apple. Y'all seem to have forgotten about the Samsung Watch Gear 1 and Gear 2. They both had square designs. So in essence. Apple is copying what Samsung started originally.

Personally, I like the design a bit. It looks robust. The orange button just throwing it off, samsung always had a square design, so fusing both their design ain't too bad. I'm definitely not paying that much for it.
