    Over the course of our time on this ISLE Pioneer Pro review we couldn't help but be impressed. The ISLE team has constructed an all-around board that utilizes new tech that made great promises such as: incredible stability, versatility, a lightweight board, and of course a fun ride. Could it deliver on so many promises? Yes, and then some!
    The new ISLE Pioneer Pro lineup has truly impressive construction that yielded some of our best results in our bend tests to date which translates well to its performance on the water. Thanks to ISLE's new tech such as the InfinityFiber stringers and Powerfusion inner rails, these boards are some of the most stable boards we've come across yet, and the three different sizes offer customers the chance to find a board that best suits their height and weight, or even preference on maneuverability.
    And while the boards do well when standing, they do about as well sitting. The Pioneer Pro line has optional attachment for converting the board into a kayak capable of taking two paddlers (better on the two larger boards though). Even with two adults, the board does a great job remaining on top of the water and it gives a good leisurely feel as a kayak.

    Great review! I just placed an order for two of the 10'6" Pioneer Pro boards with the complete hybrid/kayak set-up for both boards, as a gift for my wife and daughter...I'll be buying the 11'6" Pioneer Pro for me later. Gonna be a great summer!

    Thanks for the detailed review. Question, I also watched your other video Best Inflatable Paddle Boards of 2022, what is your next recommendation among other brands for the best SUP that is as good as the Pioneer pro?

    Great review. I love isle paddle board products. This looks like a huge game changer. I want to upgrade my explorer to their explorer pro. Need to find someone to buy mine lol

      Glad you liked the review, and we agree that the new infinity rail system is a game changer. I would say it's worth the upgrade if you can find someone to buy your current explorer (or just have 2 so you can take out friends)!

      @@supboardguide thanks for the response. I already have two boards or else I would totally do that. Got the starboard tour deluxe 14' x 30", and the 2021 explorer. Both are excellent.

    How do you compare the 11'6 pioneer pro vs the switch 11'6 ? There's a weight difference & build quality difference. I'm guessing the increase in weight for the pioneer pro slows the speed & maneuverability down...that's the trade off for the better durability?
    Is the switch durable enough though?

    Great review. One if the few out here. I'm torn between these and the explorer pro...

      I have an isle explorer ( not pro ). It's an incredible board. I want to upgrade to the pro now. Looks amazing

      Al, the main difference is the Explorers are more touring style while the Pioneer Pro's are more all-around. If you are someone who is going to be distance/fitness paddling and want more speed performance, then I'd recommend the Explorer Pro.

      @@supboardguideThat's for the reply. I ended up going with the explorer pro, the 14' one. I love it, stable, fast, and I can load it up with fishing gear and a passenger.

    I wonder can they make something with a board shape keeping it high tech made? Cause these boards look not very attractive because of a boring sausage-like shape

    Are all of these inflatable?

    • @supboardguide
      @supboardguide  Před rokem

      Yes, they are - but they are the stiffest inflatable SUPs we've ever tested.
