Stooges entertain children and adults now for generations. Hopefully no one will let them disappear from a side. They were much more famous than the people that try to run over. Just love Curly

There is one tragic moment you missed. After Shemp's passing in 1956, Joe Besser joined the Stooges for their final Columbia shorts. Once the contract with Columbia ran out, Moe and Larry were planning on taking the act on the road for a personal appearance tour. Joe declined the tour and left the act to take care of his ailing wife. Joe's wife had a heart attack in late 1957.

Nevertheless, how fans felt of Joe, I liked him. Joe possessed, his own talent, as portrayed in 'The Abbott And Costello Show'!!! Plus, he was in other films, including a sci-fi/horror movie (Hand Of Death, 1962), with John Agar.

@@rogerrendzak8055 Joe was talented. His style of comedy just didn't mesh well with what Moe and Larry did in the Stooges.

Larry and Moe died more than 3 months, not 3 weeks, apart.

True legends. Moe and Shemp Howard had a comedy Vaudeville act before the Three Stooges were created.

I always was told, in many other documentaries, that Curly had his nickname before, the haircut. It was his long curly hair, where his nickname, came from🤔. I didn't know Ted Healy, was found dead, in a hotel room. If he was murdered, he got what he deserved😒…………
Their episode short is titled; "I'll Never 'Heil' Again', not 'hail' again. "Moe, concerned, for his friend"??? You mean, brother right??

It's a shame that Curly allowed his shaved head bother him to the point that he indulged in heavy drinking and unhealthy eating, which eventually led to his falling ill and the stroke that led to his permanent retirement, and early death.
