Words cannot describe how much this song means to me. Hearing it in person for the very first time was even more breathtaking. This vid kind of summarizes what I was feeling in this moment and it was very surreal. Dodie you are an absolute angel and I'm so glad that I was finally able to see you live! Here's to seeing you again in the future :')

I NEVER KNEW YOU WERE A DODIE FAN!! :D You're so lucky you got to see her live this year! She is one of my favorite artists of all time! It's strange, because when I have to explain why, it's very hard for me to articulate it in words, but there is something about who dodie is that brings me so much happiness!
When is a special song for me too! For me, it is about the realization of learning to live life authentically in the present moment and the struggle to do so. The best part about these songs though, is that they mean different things to everyone, and can impact people in different ways. Why does the song means so much to you my friend? My favorite song by her is air so sweet, but all her music is incredible!

Awwww yes! Also you described how I feel about this song perfectly. This is my all time favorite Dodie song cause it’s super nostalgic for me. Each time I hear it it never fails to make me cry. It immediately takes me back to when I was 16 and how I was feeling then. Tbh I wasn’t my best self at that time and “When” really describes why. So when I heard this in concert I immediately saw my 16 year old self and cried so much haha. I’m so proud of how far I’ve come :’)
