this feels more suitable than the one we saw at the Eurovision stage in Turin. this feels more mature, while the one we saw from Turin feels more "high-school".
Yeah, when I saw the Turin staging I was like "What in the Junior Eurovision is this?"

She usually is a really good performer and I was shocked in the semifinal performance because she wasnt as good as she usually is. She must have been really nervous then

@@ja1207 yes, Greece , Cyprus(not sure), Switzerland, Armenia, Malta and Austria filmed their LoT in Bulgaria.
Performance in Turin should have been more like this. Jumped on top of the piano far too soon! Still a great song, Emma. You are what you are, and that will always be really good.

The song is cliched and really is inappopriate for a cis-gender straight white girl. You have to be a member of some racial or sexual minority to get the message across and produce an impact.

If Emma Muscat had agreed to compete with the song "Out of sight", I am sure she would have had more chances to qualify but unfortunately she made a big mistake by following her fans' and other people's advice in order to change the song. Emma Muscat is really a perfect singer but unfortunately her fans did her harm by asking her to change the song.. If her fans had really liked her, they would not have asked Emma Muscat to make such a risky decision. Unfortunately no one could not appreciate the value of the song "Out of Sight". No one could understand that "Out of Sight" was better and a more different song than "I am what I am".I will never forgive her fans.
as far as I know, the song change has nothing to do with the fans. From what I read, the broadcastic network wanted to make a revamp and they gave her a demo of the revamp. She did not liked the revamp and feel disconnected to it. so the network gave her only two options: going with "IAWIA" or doing the revamp of OOS which she hated.
That is such bullshit. The performance in the semi was bad and off-key and she wouldn't have qualified with Out of Sight either.
The problem is that Emma Muscat wasn't famous for singing songs like Out of sight. It felt a little out of place.
Changing song wasn't the problem, the problem is that I am what I am is a worse song than Out of Sight. She should've gone for songs similar to her older songs like Sangria

I'm wondering if the majority of the Eurovision contestants and broadcasters respected strictly the rules of "live-on-tape" performances. Simply because the gap between these ans the live performances at the Semi-Finals and Final is sometimes so important my ears just can't believe it.
I think also tension and anxiety on the Eurovision stage plays an important role

Great staging, better vocals without this unnecessary choreography. Now you just have to sing "Out of sight" and you would have a qualification worthy performance

Because she doesn't have to deal with a loud ass crowd. There's also pressure when doing performances publicly unlike when you're just alone ( just like anyone )
