Boris and I attended VCU when he was a model. We had a crush on the same Ethiopian beauty and found out we are both half German and Black. He became a Perry Ellis model in NYC and I became a makeup artist/photographer in the early '90s.
I could see how Sanaa may have come off slightly snooty. Mom's from Broadway and your dad's a TV producer. Plus she's Ivy League educated, and sometimes those "type" of people have airs about themselves. But she was young too so as you go through life your personality changes (hopefully for the best).
