The reassons why i saved her :
1) She is the dauther of the Golden Dragon who i protected with Yennefer
2) She is a Dragon, The Witchers protect Dragons
3) I think i fell in love with her!!!

Okay, so her father can see the future, but also thought he couldn't have children?
I believe Saskia is adopted. The green dragon that died-- was a dragon he loved, and he took care of her egg/baby. That's why Saskia doesn't have any golden scales.
However, that would not explain her limited polymorphism inherited from her dad.
@@scoia-tael33 Perhaps; although it may be a trait of other dragons as well -- or maybe it just took her a while to learn the magic or power to do an appropriate form. I dunno. I feel like she's not being entirely candid with Geralt, or isn't fully aware herself.
It seems like her father may not have explained everything to her either ... "it is the dragon's way".
Also, it doesn't seem like it's genetic to me.. "Polymorphing, did you get that from him as well?" - "Just a hint of it. I can only assume one human form, he could turn into anyone he liked." ... maybe a learned skill, rather than innate.
I am not sure that she knows that she isn't his biological offspring.
See the future doesn't mean that he knows the future, there are many futures

She and Iorveth should have been in Witcher 3 :( Only thing that prevents that game from being perfect...
would have been cool if you had a dragon on your side at the battle of kaer morhen, or the final battle on Skellige
The devs wanted to but according to them it didn't work for the story
And you can guess when you ask Roche about the scoia'tel "who cares about the scoia'tel these days ?"

Well depending on the choices, she could very well be dead. When the war broke out, Nilfgaard or I think it was Redenia. Attacked the Pontar Valley, utterly crushed the forces there and probably killed Saskia.

She seemed pretty hostile over all, almost like she was trying really hard to be nice.

I think it's like; she has a lot of confusing imperatives and instincts toward the people amd creatures she's interacting with

If anyone is wondering about the "underscore guest" line it is a mistranslation. Something a bit more accurate would have been, "unless of course..."

According to another post about it on a forum, she actually says "Maybe you would like to live there?".
I'm really glad you said that. It was too sad and really uncharacteristic for these two to harbor post-enchantment-battle grudges.
God i loved the witcher 2 so much! My only regret in tw3 is that Iorveth is not in there :( he was cut :(

I understand he's suffered from memory loss since the first game, but him remembering Villentretenmerth without remembering Myrgatabrakke's baby makes zero sense.

Villen didn't adopt saskia, he is her father. hence her ability to shapeshift.

Even though the witcher 2s story wasnt as convinving as witcher 3s its a shame that so few of the characters returned actually only roche and ves were present and even though theyre awesome its a shame

@xmeany It really wasn't. I'm not a huge fan of the whole Wild Hunt plot, but it was miles better than the bland and monotonous story of the second game.
I just love the clicheness with her finding dwarves fascinating.
Literally in every fantasy universe or franchise, theres always a twist with dwarves and dragons.
The interesting thing is, in polish she says something quite different. So whether Iorweth has chance or not depends on language... Hmmm.

I doubt the other dragons give a fuck. It wouldn't be hard for them to work out why she called herself that, anyways.
Plus judging from the lore, it's highly unlikely she's met many other dragons at all.

That’s what Philippa claimed, though to be fair she’s certainly not above lying to get her way. For all we know, piercing Saskia’s heart with the dagger might’ve made the mind control spell permanent.

I think Iorveth's path is the one CDPR originally designed for the plot, and then later they decided to enhance replayability by creating Roche's path.
Ugh this fight prior to this scene with the dragon took me literally 20 minutes to complete..crazy

What she's actually implying is that she's more interested in dwarves because traditionally they're the humanoid race dragons have had the most interaction with. Lot of history between the two species.

Well, it doesn't really bring any difference: her mind is enslaved, and leaving her alive in Roche's path would only contribute to her being nothing but sorceresses' bitch till the end of the days.
She was fighting for a freedom, and at that moment, only death could bring her any.

I hope that if you go with Roche's path or saving Triss on any path, that Iorveth lifts the spell by himself.
If you save Triss, in the end you will meet a crippled Iorveth, unable to move, paralyzed by Philippa's spell. He is still clutching the enchanted dagger. Meaning he managed to get it but was unable to actually use it.
Bindair Dundat I knew about saving Iorveth with Triss but forgot about it, but I didn't know about the dagger.

@L Durand well she cannot control her dragon form because of phillipa so i think iorveth helped her instead of geralt. if you help her she controls herself normally.
@L Durand yea i wiped them out too. iorveth was injured but i saved him and dethmold kicked roche's ass and escaped.

You're wrong. The VA is portraying Geralt correctly -- Geralt doesn't show much outward emotion. Witchers being incapable of feeling emotion is a popular myth, and Geralt finds that myth useful when dealing with others, so he's adapted his personality to play to it (for example, Geralt knows it comforts villagers to believe he can't feel bloodlust/anger/hate, since being a mutant monster-slayer is frightening enough for them as it is).
I thought the VA -- Doug Cockle -- overdid the emotionlessness in TW1, to the point that the performance actually did come off as amateur. But Doug gets the balance right in TW2 and TW3: _some_ emotion, subtle, but muted.

@@CognizantCheddar nah his voice acting is shit. Geralt sounds like the most dry npc you can meet in Skyrim. Geralt in the books was not at all like that, clearly you haven’t read them much. Geralt gets angry a lot, he gets philosophical a lot, and in the games geralt is just way too stoic and dry, like a random npc in Skyrim. Also Peter Kenny’s voice is just perfect for geralt, rather than a poor man’s Christian bale batman impression.

Of course Geralt has emotions. He's nonetheless notorious for his stoic demeanor, and I've already described how that manner is deliberately effected by Geralt, _as explained in the books._ Clearly you haven't read them much.
She says she likes fucking DWARVES... And even after saving her ass says we'll only ever be a "guest".

Translation error
I know it's been years, but in case you never found out, the English dialogue changed the original completely. In the original she doesn't say anything about dwarves and hints that she's open to a relationship with him, she says something like "as for Iorveth.. well I could have use for a man"
I chose to save triss without blinking. I hated joan of arc types anyway 😉

so on yorveth's path is the same dialogue as on roche's. lol, what a lack of ideas. it's exactly the same, word by word. some things are just plain stupid in this game.
