William and Connie said they would make a surprise role if they re made this show, even Connie said the suit has so much potential, it could do anything. Or even a cartoon series would be great.
I love how big the cabin of the jet is in the interior shots. In reality an adult would barely be able to stand up straight. I still love the show though despite it's inaccuracies.
Maybe the jet is a TARDIS, you know, bigger on the inside than on the outside. If you don't know what a "Time And Relative Distance In Space" is, then you need to start watching Dr. Who.
i love this show so I won’t go down the list of inaccuracies. But if I did, somebody being able to stand up, or not, in a cabin in this type of scenario would not be where I would start. First I would address the guy who’s flying around in a red suit, and why not come up with a bullet proof mask or something for the face….and many more things, but it’s an awesome fun loving show that I can’t get enough of.
People standing up in small corporate jet is nothing, how about all those dudes Ralph threw out the jet somehow magically landing in the same exact spot!!! How did that happen!!?? I know he was using his superspeed to throw them out near instantly at the same time, but still. Did the wind blow their bodies to the right location? And how did Pam and Bill explain Pam, and the other two guys somehow miraculously coming out of that plane crash alive way beyond the crash site?
Stephen Canell's best damn works were always cut short, like this show, and James Garner's health problems ending Rockford in 1980, when it could've ran for a full decade! This show wasn't Hemmed in with reality, like Rockford, so it could've been Infinite, almost like the Simpsons. Cannel was tied to so much magic!
N1TC, The old radio operator's phonetic alphabet is used by the military and several others. Just ask any ham radio operator and that will be confirmed.
When Maxwell returns to the desert with the fire fighters, his car makes "tires screeching on pavement" sounds when he brakes, but he is driving on sand.
Ralph develops the power to see into the future. When he and Max go to the "crash site" he not only can see the plane crash, but he also can touch parts of the plane. He shouldn't be able to touch something that isn't there.
My favorite song was Pieces of Gold from the Lost Diablo episode and another song The Game goes on from the 200 mile per hour baseball episode where Ralph plays against the california stars.
The only issue I have with this show is Ralph's special education class. The actors are 25-30 year olds playing 17 year olds. Also, the so called Aliens are a joke, I mean even without CGI, they could have done better. Otherwise it's a great show ! I love it, and I especially love the theme song.
Try thinking of it this way: They're not juvenile delinquents, they're Very Special and flunked so many years, they're still at high school instead of college... 🙈🙈🙈🙈
This is a good one... Bill and Ralph being stuck with a grouchy cat from hell and Ralph has to save the woman he loves from a crash before it happens... For those that want to know.. Ralph was picked up from school and that is one reason why He had on the tweed jacket... This is not the only episode that has ralph seeing into a part of history.. He could also see into the past... Even in the Best in the Black and Bill says we did this number before.. I am looking at a brick wall and you are looking at a brick wall... He saw though the wall to see the ghost of a real estate agent that had died....
The way they show Aircraft that are invisible to radar is incorrect. Stealth aircraft show up on screen as a duck or similar type of bird. The design is a single wing aircraft whose shape deflects the radar signal. The plane is also coated with a special material that absorbs radar signals. Simply having a "gizmo" can't be used to block radar.
36:45 Really stupid badies. They just stand there pointing a gun at them the whole time instead of getting them secured. 44:20 So stupid. As if "catching" them would not result in their death. They still would still be decelerating over such a short distance that the g forces would rip their body apart. But overall an amazing episode. I know most all of aerial stuff had to be stock footage but it still seems like the budget for this one was pretty high. Really fun to see Ralph dodging missiles. Not sure how Bill is going to explain his involvement in this to his superiors, unless they didn't get his name when he showed his badge. All these times of a guy matching the same description as him flashing a fed's badge must be beginning to look very suspicious.
So, he can't stop a train while flying, but he can stop a jet fighter while flying. Lucky for me I know this is just a stupid TV show from the early 80's. It's good mind numbing entertainment to take me away from the Orwellian nightmare we are living in. Actually we are living this Orwellian nightmare because of mind numbing entertainment from the past, blinding us from what's going on behind our backs.
Ralph is not SUPERMAN... He is a normal person put in an odd situation... He has not done the superhero thing his whole life.... He is a man dealing with real life problems.... No super villians... He goes to stop people that want to kill humanity or a country...
Here is a concept; the Great Seal of the U.S. has two sides Civic and Religious/Cultural. On all Law Library books and laws are the Civic, and on American culture is the eye from the left side of the seal. The camera eye...magazines, newspapers, television, internet, security, phone use....long ago there were only 3 TV networks, CBS, NBC and ABC. CBS logo is an eye. NBC logo shows how the eye sees upside down and inverts the image upright. Orwell got in late to this eye party.
I wish this would have carried on. This series is truly amazing. Far ahead of today's time.
True, but the level of special effects would have been a source of irritation to everyone by today’s standards.
If remade today the speciL effects would be fab!
William and Connie said they would make a surprise role if they re made this show, even Connie said the suit has so much potential, it could do anything. Or even a cartoon series would be great.
I Know! It could've branched out, in so many directions, story wise.
@@DanielKing-dk5nr If it was made today it would be trashy , relying on CGI and full of wokeism. They just don't make them like they used to.

Bill sure has bad luck with cars! 😂
Thats three in 6 months????

Faye Grant as Rhonda, is Amazing
If he took skydiving classes, he would have understood that the way you have your arms and legs affects his flying.
No cactuses were hurt in the filming of this episode !
Cacti.
🤣🤣🤣🤣
Hope that cute angry cat found a loving home 😇
"No ship that small has a cloaking device!'
Touche, captain Needa
Landing in Ralph's arms would have killed the two men falling from the plane.
They were protect by Plot Armor.
My god! How many different aircraft are they gonna show?
It's amazing how fast that plane can go, Ralph and Bill are never too far behind that they can't catch up in his supersonic FBI issue Ford POS.
That was a Dodge Diplomat.

I Love Lady Connie Selleca and I Will Always Love, Little Lady Faye Grant
Ralph knows he's going out to the middle of the desert to practice with the suit - and he wears a jacket and tie?
Continuity Errors
Why did he get hurt when crash landing but ok against bullets? Weird.
Guess he could fly straight in this episode... November one tango Charlie = 9 123.....

That 'scramble' song was rather catchy. Wish I knew who wrote/preformed it.
Joey Scarbury was the preformer. He did most of the Songs on the show.

Stephen Geyer wrote it, along with most of the other songs.
My favorite song was Pieces of Gold from the Lost Diablo episode and another song The Game goes on from the 200 mile per hour baseball episode where Ralph plays against the california stars.
After Ralph puts on the stabilizers, he then takes off, but in the footage, he is missing those parts until he lands.

Funny, cowboy shook his hand after seeing two guys hold hand
And now we know where they got the idea for the Top Gun "Danger Zone" montage. 32:04
Deja vu here, scary!!!
Well I think they designed this series for a waist wire as the flight module.
The plane that is nearly hit by Pam's plane changes tail color from red and blue to gold.
Bill has a hard time keeping from smashing his car.
