Bass play through: everyone surprised to hear bass.
I really enjoyed being able to hear the bass part get more clarity in this song. Studios, turn up the bass (guitar)!
PenMark I don’t get why they never do.. it must drown out the mix sometimes or something I have no idea but i love being able to hear low ass chugging and badass tapping on bass every once in a while at least. That’s why I like beyond creation, their bass players sound incredible
@@nickbell3546 YES. THE BASSIST WAS LIKE ANCESTRAL CHAMPAGNE TO CUT THROUGH THE *GIRTHY* VOCALS. Also Serpent of Gnosis if you want more more JFAC. Its whats left of them, including Jonny
Checkout Beyond Creation if you haven't already. Incredible bass tone and skill.
Honestly gotta say Jared is one of the better tech bass players out there, his technique is just flawless
Fun fact, he wasn't even a bassist before he joined the band, he picked it up when Dean asked him to audition
@@eliasaltman4439 Yea the first time I heard him say that in an interview I almost lost my shit 😂 but he's said his left hand technique was already there from guitar and his right hand was the one he had to work on, but yea crazy shit!
I love the growl of the low string over the chugging power chords and the fact that you can still hear the solo over the extra loud bass. So much oomph with the extra bass
What a monster!!
That "nails in a jar being dragged on concrete" tone. Sick.
I've watched this video so much that when I listen to the actual song I'm like "where's the bass?"
That tapping section is so beautiful 1:09 😍
3:11 Oh, Hell yes.
True mastery nothing to add. My favourite song on the album by the way.
This CD has not left my car in months everyday I listen to it
Check out Cytotoxin's "Gammageddon"... they are the only band that can step to Archspire rn
WOW!! Now that's how to slay a bass \,,/, shred on man
Dave really did you dirty not turning up the bass in the mix
oof that tone is amazing
I enjoyed being able to really hear the bass on this track. Relentless Mutation still blows me away. Is it too early to call it a GOAT album?
It's of course subjective, but it's by far my favorite tech death album ever. I have listened to it through countless times and it never ceases to get me hyped.
Easily top 5 tech death albums of all time. Could be a contender for top 20 extreme metal albums ever.
@@sterbern6762 Definitely top 10. Hard to cut to top 5 and after hearing the new single I'm thinking it's going to top Reclaimer. Heard a 30 sec clip of each song. As far as Deathcore Reclaimer is my #1. Tech Death is my favorite genre.
Last gig I was at was Archspire before the lockdown :(
Archspire play through = like
Fuckin' hell I keep coming back to this video.
It s just amazing, I just discover this band yesterday and I saw they plays 2 weeks at 20mn from my place........................
Most bass playthroughs *boring*
This one *could watch forever*
😁🤘🤘🤘
I wouldn't mind if this is how the bass was mixed on the next album.
I hate when you hear a bass playthough and you instantly think in why the hell the bass is so quiet in the album mix, i mean, it doesnt have to sound this loud but its really frustranting to need searching like a hound for the sound of the bass in the mix, same happens with gojira, gorgeous live sound, and amazing groove add to the mix, but in the way of all flesh you need to really turn up the bass in the mix to find it :/ anyways, excellent song
This is the kind of bass tone that opens a black hole in the middle of the planet and destroys everything.
Can you do a video on how you dail in your bass tone? I feel it would be appreciated by many.
he uses darkglass super symmetry for most of his tone as stated in archspires gear gods video. but i think for this video, he has a b7K going on as well
This is beyond incredible. Dude is a God. I am starting a religion that worships archspire.
Damn. I was addicted to this album for like 6 months straight, maybe more. Then saw this, now I need to get back on the wagon.
that tone
one of the only guys ive ever seen throw down on a bass like mike flores
that tone is amazing 😍
so sick! Love it
Jared is amazing! Love Archspire!
How the fuck do you tap with that much clarity on a bass. This man could probably pierce your skull with a flick
I always enjoy a badass bass play through video! Thanks for showing up how kickass your bass is!!! 🤘💀🤘
Beautiful!
Cheers Jared 🤘🏻
Sick bass. Sick band
oh my god! Great bass
This song is pure jam.
amazing.
Awesome
Everything about this is wonderful. Fantastic stuff, love the ambition this band has.
Really relaxing
Awesome.
Шикарно, больше нечего сказать. Через день слушаю этот альбом с момента выхода, кучу риффов выучил. Жду не дождусь нового альбома)
Excellent!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
YEAH!!
Killer tone !
Blissful
they have great songs
great!
A Monster Tone..superb tech! Complimenti !!
Why da hell can't we have a final release with a mixup like this ? Does it chock people to hear the bass as same as the guitar ???
#StopNerfingBassInMix
People don't like when the bass turn off the guitars, but the bass sound is so beautiful so...Turn on the bass sound and fuck people who don't like it lol
If you wanted this as a final product, you understand nothing of this. The bass is pretty audible in their album.
@@ThyAsianMan it's really audible.... I don't know if you are deaf or not, but if you prefer the bass guitar being the loudest thing in the mix, so loud that you are barely able to hear the guitar, then you have hearing problems
@@Compendyum well, its not impossible to have both, and i definetly would if there was another version of the album mixed like this
God that tone :O
Fuck yes. I always want more Archspire. Especially off of Relentless Mutation, one of the best tech albums ever.
MONSTER BASSIST!!!!
Music Genres With Funkiest Bass
1. Tech-Death
2. Funk
Now this is a real playthru film and not that bullshit other labels do
They have that G3/G4 show that goes around....
Can we get a B3 with this dude, Erlend Casperson and Pete Perez.....?
How much money do I have to pay
I'd have Jared, Erland and Chaoth personally, but hey, it could be just like G3 and have a 'guest bass slayer' each tour 😁
Barbabro.. !!!
Mozart's Requiem Confutatis Maledictis 2:27, dude, it's insane, I only saw it now!
thats heavy as FUCK. brutal tone
Sickness
It's time to slice the cake!
See you in Tel Aviv on Saturday!!!
wew so many good tech death bands in canada.
pemain bass metal terbaik
Ахерительно!!!! Жду альбом
I'm shure Mozart is pround of you, keep doing well :)
🖤🖤🖤
heym an, sick set.
that tone feels like a building is falling on me
Это лучшее что может быть в принципе !!!
until 1:08 i thought i could do that too with a lot of practice... nevermind •-•
Go for it man, it only takes practice and dedication ! A lot of it though. It's quite inspiring in some way.
@@Lestakeo theoretically i should & i'm really looking forward to the point where i'll be able to play like that, however, i don't own a six string yet, so other tracks will have to do for now as practice :) thanks for the optimism!
It's not that bad dude, two handed tapping is pretty easy compared to the stuff he does in this play through. Practice tapping on an electric guitar then build strength on an acoustic guitar then bass won't be so bad.
Ooh, honey... If you think you can do the song up til that bit I'm pretty sure you can learn tapping.
Like no shade, I'm here 'cuz I love this ish, but that speed tapping bit isn't too bad. This is def not the most challenging song they have.
As for the six strings I'm pretty sure most of 1:08-1:25 actually is just on four strings xp just play the low chugs up an octave and chill with the guitars, you can still learn the song for now, then when you get a six (or a five, pretty sure he's only using the high string like twice anyway, just go higher on the neck) it'll be easy to just go low, you already know the song
Unless you're playing Brain Drill while not tuned in 5ths (or maybe even 7ths xD) you can still learn pretty much anything while stuck with a four. Just have to work around a bit, but then you just get to know your fretboard a little better.
Either way though, cheers, bass love all around
gotta get a five string first, then i'll see haha, there's no way i'm putting that much effort into it on my four string just to re-learn the song once i get one to actually play the lowes notes :D
phat tonez
Ryan Martinie is my favorite bass player of all time, but this level of playing is right up there too! DAMN. I love talented bass players. I try to experiment with stuff like this with my own playing... I'm not this good though!
damm man that bass tone is like a freakin Godzilla roaring...
Saw these guys with Inferi, Virvum and Wormhole. Oli did this song with a 42oz taped to his hand to close out the set. What an insane show.
Didn't go to that one, but I saw that! The one I went to, Oli got everyone to do one handed claps instead of devil horns for their whole set hahah.
That tone is. H E A V Y
One of the most fun death metal groups to listen to.
Omg this makes me want to pick up my bass again. 😫.
This guy is a god
😍😍😍
epic
That bass tone is mean as f*ck!! Can't wait for the new album!
Babando... satisfatório aos olhos. Aos ouvidos: lamento pelos que dizem gostar de metal mas não conseguem apreciar essa habilidade, essa arte, beleza em sua totalidade.
Sick shit dude!
Niiiice
fucking awesome! Tone is killer, too!!
Nastyyyyyy
Apart from the insanity that is the musicianship in this, I also find the cinematography very estetically pleasing. (And yes, I know I am criminally late to the party... :/ )
This sound 0:32 !!its so fukin AWSM ....ow LORD(one of them) pls Bless this Band!!!
Здорово
MOOOOOOAAAARRR!!
Such a fucking beast!!
Have we got the drum play thru for this song??
Jesus that tone slaps harder than an abusive step dad.
bob silliger can confirm
How original...
