How to get burn marks off concrete? (Easiest Trick)

  • So, guys you know concrete is a pretty stiff material. We all know that but sill it get annoying marks and spots that look pretty bad actually.
    Like if there’s a fire around or you put some fire plank directly on the patio; the concrete surface gets those dirty black burn marks. So, how do you get burn marks off concrete?
    Well, getting rid of the burn marks is a pretty annyoying task; but the good news is that it is quite doable.
    But here’s a trick; while you’re washing the concrete or removing the black stuff out make sure not to damage the protective surface of the concrete. We don’t want to make our concrete open to trouble.
    So, while you’re trying to washing concrete, be wary of using any strong chemicals. I’ve been seeing people using harsh acid-based cleaners. But that for sure damages the concrete. Instead, you can use gentle washing agents such as baking soda, dish soap, and water.
    There are several methods you can try to get your concrete looking like new again.
    So, in our today’s video; we’ll be giving you a review about the different techniques that you can use to get burn marks off concrete.

    So, we’ll start with the most common and obvious choice in an even of burn mark. That is. Pressure Washer Method
    Well, a pressure washer may do the trick for you. Or if you don’t have a pressure washer, a high-pressure nozzle on a garden hose can work too. A powerful and direct stream of water directed at the burn mark may be able to remove the stain from concrete.
    Now this method is pretty easy and doesn’t require some special tools. But still it may not work for some deep spots or areas. For such you need more elbow grease.
    So, that takes us to our next in fact our favorite method that is Using Powdered Dish Detergent Method
    Powdered dish detergent is an effect and gentle cleaner. We all know this. So, Try this method for a quick stain removal method.
    In a large bucket, combine 1 gallon of hot water and 1 cup of powdered dish detergent.
    Use a bristle brush to dip into the soap mixture and scrub away the stain.
    Scrub the stain beginning at the outer edge, where it is not as deeply embedded. Work towards the center.
    Rinse the area with warm water.
    Repeat as needed until the stain is completely gone.
    Our next method is Liquid Dish Soap Method
    Liquid dish soap will clean without harming almost anything. This is a good option if you have a finishing on your concrete that you don’t want to tarnish.
    In a large bucket, combine a gallon of warm water with ½ cup of liquid dish soap.
    Use a bristled brush to scrub away with burn marks with the sudsy water.
    Rinse with water.
    Repeat as needed.
    Our last and the super-amazing trick is Baking Soda Method
    Baking soda is a powerful natural cleaning agent. It can remove many different kinds of stains, even on concrete, without leaving any residue behind.
    Pour water over the burned area.
    Make a thick paste with baking soda and water. Mix in a small bowl; be sure there is enough to cover the entire burned area.
    Spread the paste over the burned marks and let sit for about one hour.
    With a soft bristle brush, scrub the concrete.
    Rinse over the area by spraying it down with a hose or pouring a bucket of water over it.
    If burn marks remain, repeat the process.
    You may need to go through the process a few times to completely rid your concrete of marks.
    It may be helpful to try a combination of these methods.
    If one doesn’t work for you, try another or combine two for more firepower.
