Fwiw your gim content is fun, I can't wait to see you do bossing.
Path is definitely the highlight of your schedule, so I hope that when they balance better in 20XX it will come back in full force.
As for hero pass, it looked like a shift, but if you had been following yak track since release it was unfortunately the direction the game was headed. They've been pulling more shit with it and making it worse and worse, hero pass is just all that shit exploding like a burst drain pipe and now Jagex has to clean up the mess. I'm actually glad they're taking a more critical look at their battlepass format, if this had been allowed to continue under Yak Track I fear a lot of the bad aspects of Hero Pass would have gone by unnoticed.

This is a shame, really enjoyed path of the titan so far and it's the only series of yours that I follow. Hope you pick it back up soon mate

I'm feeling pretty burnt out on RS3 too.
It's a shame because the current Thok event is great...I just don't feel like playing. The only stuff that still feels worthwhile to do is learn new bosses but they're all locked behind an insane difficultly curve that I guess I'm just not good enough to climb.
And being forced to choose a Reaper Task instead of just...getting one is super demotivating. I can already choose what boss I want to kill, it's called "just going to the boss." I go to Death when I don't want to choose.

It's meant to help you easily gain reaper points by allowing you to decide what is in your league vs giving you a zuk run you can't handle or something along those lines. And don't ever think you can't make the pvm climb. I've been playing for 15ish years and just now started making some progress on pvm. It's definitely a grind/curve that I wasn't used to but the more you practice the easier it gets and now is the best time to die a bunch. (This isn't me being an ass btw lol trying to be motivational) don't get me wrong dying sucks. But this is the best time to do it. Lol.

One thing you might consider as well with rs3, if this is your cup of tea, is making snowflake rules to artificially, but fairly, limit necromancy using combat xp options. For example, no leveling necromancy beyond the tier of your worst non-nec style gear (i.e. if you have full ahrims then you can only have 70 nec,) or maybe keep it 30 levels below your highest tier otherwise.
I'm enjoying all the rs3 content creators jumping over to osrs. It's fun to see people having an experience directly opposite mine and how that affects the way we game

I'm definitely down for custom rules, but there's a line where it goes from fun rulesets to trying to patch up the hull, and Path feels firmly in the latter during periods of excessive combat imbalances. Ultimately any rule I'd put in place might miss the mark and would just need to be changed again when balancing occurs. So for now, best to let it rest until the devs get to implement their gamejam works.

Shame to see another jump ship to osrs. I totally understand burnout but if its directly related to hero pass, which is 90% of content creators excuse for hopping to osrs, then it teaches jagex nothing. It gets rid of the people who cant handle mtx and shoves them to another outlet that makes them money, while new content creators will come in and replace the ones that left in rs3. Unsub for now but hopefully in the future you come back to path like you said.

They haven't gotten rid of me fully, I'm still making the group iron series on RS3, it's not to try and teach Jagex a lesson or anything, I already "shield" myself from MTX via rulesets. I'm actually hoping that in the future I'll be able to strike a good balance between content for both games, this is kind of my trial run of that while RS3 has some things to improve.
