Our own biases hide the truth from us and you understand that. The people whom voted for Trump don't understand it. I think in general Asia people are smarter than westerners (and I am Canadian),so they tend to be more aware of their own biases. I want to know the truth,so I want to realize my own biases. Everyone has biases and they should try to be self aware of those biases,so they can avoid the influence which leads to delusion.

      That is B S.
PRC has been poorly managed ever since 1949. In that year, all Hong Kong, China (ROC) and China (PRC) had more the less the same GDP per capita. Now PRC (China) has a per capita income level 1/3 of that of ROC (China). It is 1/5 of that of Hong Kong. That tells you to what extent the management of CCP sucks.
Emperor XI, the new imperial leader of CCP does not even bother to bring any kind of reform (legal and civl) to the nation at all. And yet China (ROC) is a full blown democracy with frequent and peaceful changes of the dominant reigning party

America could be great, but as it stands you have a lot of work to do "at home", before you go around trying to change other cultures to suit your ways. You have an egomaniac as your president, whom isn't working in your best interest,so obviously your democratic system is majorly flawed, therefore you have no place in forcing your democracy onto unwilling nations by slaughter and force.

    • @farmerbold1144

@Gord Thor or Yu Wang Li whatever your real name in Chinese. Democracy (or an actual Republic) means freedom not allowed by China's (The People's Republic of China) oppressive and intrusive totalitarianism blocking freedom of speech including use of the full internet (except by communist military hackers required to make trouble in the world), blocking freedom of religion and even meditation (including the meditation Falun Gung that advocates compassion and truthfulness etc.), bullying, militarizing the entire S. China Sea with illegal artificial islands where half the worlds oil goes through and 5.3 TRILLION dollars in trade uses and invading land and maritime rights of other nations driving away others from their ancestral fishing waters, building China's "Silk Road" used to corrupt, invade, and dominate economically and politically etc. other nations across the entire landmass from China to Russia and Scandinavian countries and even across Africa. And this is only the beginning of China's evil plans that will certainly result in a world war probably starting in the South China Sea and vicinity. China's ridiculously arrogant and hard-headed criminal expansion will result in WAR with the United States (including the ending of trade that will decimate China's economy full of old people requiring a lot of care) that will include all of America's allies like the UK, France, Germany and Japan and maybe even friends like India, Malaysia, Indonesia, Australia, and maybe even Vietnam (China took Vietnam's Paracel Islands for militarization and built oil wells near Vietnam's shores and Vietnam's getting the Brahmos missiles from India and other weapons from abroad so as to fight China's bullying intrusion and stealing). I don't know if the Philippines and Taiwan will participate unless the war starts with their involvement. But the entire world save some bad actors like Iran, Syria, and Afghanistan will work for China's downfall until it becomes a true democracy after internal unrest to overthrow the CCP totalitarian government and maybe reunify with Taiwan and stop invading other's waters and lands and resources.

But please tell me what "Examination" did President Trump (or any American President) pass before becoming President???
And do not say "The Voters elected him"! The Electoral College elected him, since he lost the Popular Vote by about 2 and a half million votes. I agree, it IS Legal and Constitutional for a President to be Elected by the Electoral College.
But you say "any other country in this world" has Examinations to decide who gets into power, so what "Examination" do I take to see if I can be the American President?
I await your answer with bated breath!

He had a good opportunity to explore international relations with this clearly intelligent and thoughtful official, but he just continued to bring up campaign rhetoric and tweets, even after Mr. Kang made it clear to him that these were not considered serious concerns. He kept asking the same questions over and over when he had already received clear answers. Honestly, Trump's immaturity is embarrassing enough for our nation. China is shinny outwardly and rotten inside. Democracy (or an actual Republic) means freedom not allowed by China's (The People's Republic of China) oppressive and intrusive totalitarianism blocking freedom of speech including use of the full internet (except by communist military hackers required to make trouble in the world), blocking free media, freedom of religion and even meditation (including the meditation Falun Gung that advocates compassion and truthfulness etc.), bullying all neighboring nations, militarizing the entire S. China Sea with illegal artificial islands where yearly half the worlds oil trade goes through and 5.3 TRILLION dollars in trade, and invading land and maritime rights of other nations driving away others from their ancestral fishing waters such as the Philippines, building China's "Silk Road" using $10's of billions to blackmail and corrupt officials, invade, and dominate economically and politically etc. other nations across the entire landmass from China to Myanmar (Burma) extending to Russia and Scandinavian countries and to Napal and even across Africa and already starting in South America offering $10's of billions to nations blackmailing and corrupting politicians and officials and others exactly like drug cartels and other organized criminal organizations.

Even china has to give away a lot of manufacturing business to other countries like Thailand, Vietnam, and Indonesia who have lower labour cost. But the jobs will never go back to USA. His responses had references, facts and numbers, which made it more convincing. One thing I don't understand on the US part. Now Mr Trump is not happy about some of the deals and claimed them so-called "one side trade". Weren't these deals signed by both sides after long negotiations? If these are really "one-side trade", he should points his fingers to the prior US administration, not the Chinese.

      robert retka
Chinese are great at deception. In the end it is all about gaining more of everything for China.
robert retka, you are absolute right!
Chinese and other peoples used the now so called South China Sea etc. thousands of years before there were Chinese, East Africans used the entire areas and seas. And later Mongolia conquered most of China all the way to the sea. Just because a Chinese visited or traveled or built a dwelling in a place does not mean that China owns it all.
That guy being interviewed is just a puppet not proof of anything.
PEACE means China's absolute DOMINATION. That's why Chinese rep's keep saying they want peace. There is PEACE when China's foot is on your throat choking you down into submission as they steal all that you have.
CHINA IS TAKING OVER everything and claiming it their own security zone from seas up to the shore-lines of other nations and all oil-gas and fishing rights everywhere from the South China Sea, East China Sea, Yellow Sea and moving into the Indian Ocean and into Africa, the Pacific Ocean and beyond. All, all, all the other nations in the region are preparing for war against China including India. And China demands and warns the United States of America to stay away as China's affairs are between China and the individual other nations. That just means that China wants to be in a position to BULLY AND INTIMIDATE the weaker nation without America helping them ... TRICKY, TRICKY, TRICKY CHINA. Double-talking propaganda by slick China to think their twisted talking and warnings if fooling and tricking the entire world. Makes me feel sickened enough to throw up.
WHEN IS AMERICA GOING TO GROW SOME BALLS AND STAND UP TO CHINA AND KICK CHINA OUT OF THE SOUTH CHINA SEA AND THE OTHER PLACES IN A COALITION WITH ALL, ALL, ALL THE OTHER NATIONS ANGRY WITH CHINA AND CHINA'S ILLEGAL EXPANSION. GROW SOME BALLS AND STOP BEING A LITTLE GIRL REGARDING CHINA'S BULLYING!!!!
TO STOP CHINA means not a trade war but to STOP ALL TRADE with China and grow some balls and take military action to destroy all of China's illegal artificial islands used to militarized the South China Sea with missiles, radars and runways etc. This must be done by the U.S. alone or the U.S. in a coalition with most or all the other nations ANGRY against China. Why, oh why do people just wait and wait allow the great enemy to get stronger and stronger? A world DOMINATED by the totalitarian oppressive and intrusive communist nation of China is worse than a nightmare, because you can wake up from a dream sooner or later.

It's like speaking to someone who is not listening....be nice to hear him say exactly that. "Richard you need to listen to me", please don't waste my time anymore if you are going to repeat the same questions and then not listen to the answers".......hahahah
