Iâd just like to say it all looks very ânaaiceâ đ!
Ahaah đđ
Real decks literally never disappoint. Some of my favorite boards were real decks. Made me want to get a new one haha great vid man
They really are great! And thanks for watching yo!
Would love to see a sesh , both curb & fingerboard with Swampy đ that would shread đ€
đđčđšđšđš
i love watching board setup vids, its like skateboard asmr
Haha thanks for tuning in yo! Glad ya digs it
Feel the same and the cats knows that
the cats big chilling
Cooks is a big chiller
Looks cool!
Sweet looking deck!đč Those shoes are sick! Thank you so much for the personal pick of stickers! I really appreciate it and you and what you bring and do! Much love and respect! My son and I enjoy watching you and the homies tear it up and the vibe you guys have together! â€đčđ
Thanks yo! Appreciate the support!!
Max Palmer actually made his own bolt hole puncher. You can see it in his Pepper Griptape video.
im just getting into the boardslide combos and this video helped me with understanding that it helps to have the rails closer together
Love to see the setup vids evolving over time this is gasoline đđ€đ„
Ayy thanks yo!
Gotta love the true fit molds
Iâve been sleeping on them too long
I been skating Ishodâs board past year half so I didnât have a front or back truck Iâm so used to twin shapes from snowboarding so made sense for me
Ayy thatâs chill!
"F" and "R" for front and rear on the underside of the trucks, because I also do the same on bits of tape when I swap from summer to winter wheels on my car (east coast).
Ahah I feel that on the car! Iâm from Jersey
I really like that fresh new board!
Dunks feel like old school fat skate shoes but they look pretty sleek, if youâre into them. Iâve always liked wearing them. They do have a narrower footprint than older fat skate shoes though. After a while ollieing in them feels pretty good and for me I start locking in that little spot right in front of the swoosh. Whereas I tend to ollie with the tip of my foot naturally. The shoe feels good when you curl your foot in and slide it up or flick. Not easy for heelflips in my case, and the tongue rips hella fast. Overall; The dunk is a good skate shoe⊠I bought it hoping it has a strong foam midsole, and I watched shoe cutting videos a lot. My dogs were just killing me.
My front truck says UwU on it! Honestly
The board I skate best with is lightweight. I have a heavier one with 8.3 deck, 8.25 forged hollow slappys, sealed bearings and 56mm (green) dragon conical wheels. My light setup is an 8â with 7.75 basic indy trucks (139âs?) and 52mm wheels, blue ccs shop bearings. I ollied over a board 3 times with it the other day before all the rain started. Itâs a dark green blank with a blue ply under with a green top ply and it has clear griptape with slayer on it.
Oh nice love watching those cutting dunk vids! And setups sound chill!!
My last setup was a Herrington Polar 8.25 and I've already ordered a new one. I like boards with less concave ... I ride bigger trucks too, Ace 55 low ...
Oh nice!
Look sick man!
The setup:
-8.25 sun boy board (local PDX)
-Stage 4 Indy trucks
-54mm dragons for these crusty streets
-Bones Reds
-Mob Grip
- Always Busenitz shoes
Niice ! đđčđŻ
9:21 I usually use like a carpenter screw or something like that
Nice shirt, great band!
I used to label my front truck before I had crooks down. Now my front and back are way too easy to tell apart to bother due to the different crook, feeble and 50-50 grooves. Even fresh trucks a few sessions in become pretty easy to tell apart if youâre skating crusty ledges.
Currently riding Ace 55 classics on an 8.375 girl board. Working well so far!
That set up looks sick! And those Dunks are crazy! Wish I had money to cop from my local haha
For my set up, I have an 8.0 Sean Malto Pop Secret deck, Indy Stage 11 139, Indy hardware, Pepper Grip, Indy 94 Duro bushings, Spitfire F4 Lock-In 53 MM, & Alexis Ramirez Bronson G3 bearings
Thanks and ur setup sounds chill!
I label my front trucks with an R for regular and the back with an F for fakie, just to keep myself on my toes. lol. Like that green, like that graphic. Keep it nice with those cheater sticks!
đđčđŻ
Back truck kingpin has more threads showing. âïž
Bro factsss the dunks have a perfect balance of board feel and protection
Ayy u know wussup!
I just got back into skating. Iâm using my old World Industries deck from 1999. Krux Trucks. Some no name wheels I think (I donât think theyâre the matching World Ind Battle 55mm wheels). Grip tape may be Jessup, but not sure. My shoes are some WalMart Etnies hi-tops
Being a beginner again, I canât say if my setup is good or bad. I guess technically riding a 25yo razortailed deck with 25yo wheels, bushings, and bearings is not the optimal setup, but itâs working until I can get around to replacing parts
Stoked to hear u got back into skating! And dope u still have that setup! Def never get rid of it!
I'd buy that four hole pokey tool thingy! Defo onto an idea đĄ right there đđ đđ
Ahahah Jah feel me
Damn straight G đđ„đŻ love that new board đč wonder if I can find one in the UK?
Sick setup!
đđđč
@@spencernuzzithat pepper grip never gets dull its crazy, might be the best grip imo. I also been enjoying the tyshawn mids lately they have that nice runner toe and comfort and i been seeing them for like 60 in cali
Fire
đđš
Dope vid man! You're rail setup being 2 inchs was the best thing I've done. Its been helping me get comfortable again on rails!
Thanks yo! And ay glad to hear it helped!
@@spencernuzzi fuck ya! you're the man! been a long time supporter and you always put out bangers! Never stop doing what you do best!
@@peacemaker3427 đđ appreciate the long time support!
love dlx boards as a short guy a true fit deck is perfect for my legs. currently riding a Grimple Stick 8.38 true fit
holy shit that wheelbase, I need me one of these! My short ass loves 14 inch wheelbase or lower haha
Itâs crazy how much of a difference it makes under 14in
Wow! Microwaving shoes is a new one on me đ€·đŒââ Anywayz your Cat approves of the Dunks đđș and Green Mach 2 looks like a sweet ride đđ
Haha yee some people like to warm their shoes up to help mold to ur feet!
Reminds me of baseball players putting their glove in an oven to break it in.
For me I always put a sticker on the front truck. Been doing that for years haha. I ride an 8.75 with Ace 55 hollows. The reason I ride a size down on the trucks is just to shave a little weight off. Iâm the same height and weight as Brian Anderson and how I skate just want my set up as light as possible
Yee I feel anytime u can shave some weight off itâs worth it!
@@spencernuzzi for sure!
watching đż
fresh setup, another reason why skateboarding videos are just so sick đ„đ„đ„đ„đ„
Thanks for tuning in!
I like that shoe color, it's different but its not loud
Right, I feel same way!
I installed pepper grip for the first time this week and its definitely thicker than mob or jessup. Was a bit harder to get a clean even cut. Would probably file it a lot more next time. Or maybe my knife was just dullâŠ
The big balls have less room in them for dirt and grime to build up. I think that's why they last longer.
Checks out haha I believe it
I've been curious about
U should def try the under 14 ! Itâs such a unique feel!
I use trex double sided superglue tape to lock my rails in. used to ride pig rail but switched to low pro slim lil jawns! super light Like 2g weight. Really nice and last way longer than any other rails Iâve used
Currently skating:
8.25 polar deck ,
151 standard Indyâs
Kyle walker spitfires 99a
With some Bronson bearings
Shoes would be Jamie foy New balance ,
Oh thatâs niiiice
8.25 Polar nose 7.125 â€, ace af1 Low hollow and 51mm spitfire classic 99a . Shoes Etnies Andy Anderson đ«Ą
Oh niiiice đčđŻ
I have the same shape. Here in Europe we pretty much only get made in china DLX boards and that 8.25 true fit board is the flattest board i ever had. Reminds me of the late 90's girl boards :D nose and the tail is flaaaat. I want to try BBS one.
Oh dang!!!
I usually flip over my front truck so its balancing on the axel and leave my back truck flat on the base plate
Setup:
Santa Cruz VX 8.25
Thunder 149
Spitfire 54s
Bones Super Reds
Just copped the janoski wondering if iâll have the same feelings as you after skating cup soles for the last few years
Good technique and niice setup !
NÄÄhcs setup my G
I just set up an Ishod twin Nose/Tail with the slick bottom, Venture low hollows and boardy cakes 49's
Oh hell yee Iâd ride that setup!
iâll have to check out that board shape. as a shorter dude, the 13.88 wheelbase sounds naisu
Isss niiiiice
â @@spencernuzzijust got a true fit from my local. probably gonna set it up as my next board. currently rocking a 9â with a 14 wheelbase with pig rails, ace 66s, and the spitfire soft sliders. really liking it for slappys as thatâs all iâve been doing now haha. i can still flip it with the short wheelbase tho.
I got a fresh toy machine deck & some Leo Baker SBs sitting on ice ready for when my current set up is smoked
Oh freshies on deck!
my back truck has more grind marks than the front. the front mainly just has front 50 marks
đđčđŻ
I've got 4 setups after my recent battle with board madness đ
10.75 heroin wide boy with 10" Slappy, heroin glow stix, big balls bearings n 52mm nano cubics.
10.5 heroin curb crusher with 215s, glow stix, reds n 60mm nano cubics.
10.4 anatomy of a wide boy with 10" Slappy inverted curb killer trucks, glow stix, reds n 43mm lil beatdowns.
10.34 Winkowski Volcano with 9" tensors, Santa Cruz rails, reds n 64mm 93A Dragons.
Oh nice setup for everything!
Copped myself the new Hermann Stene Real True Fit 8.5" cant wait to try it out!
UPDATE!!: dude its sooo niceee, got that 13.75" wheelbase and it just feels so much nicer, my pop on flip tricks is so much more consistent and just feels overall incredible. definitely copping myself more DLX true fit decks in the future
Bruh you just set up your April board đâ€đ€
It got kinda cooked in the last 6 weeks
Yea, if u skate everyday like Spence does, then itâs very valid thatâs heâs setting up a new deck
You should use your Goo slaps to mark your trucks & your bics đ
Ohhh thatâs a good idea
Your board graphics are cooler..I got the purple one. Small wheelbase are so hard to find
đđčđŻ
Iâve been wanting to try one of those True fits. The shops never have em âčïž
I know they are kinda hard to find. I almost bought both of them cuz I knew it would be a minute before I get another
I have to sacrifice alot of flatground to have a bigger wheelbase. I can't ride a deck under 33 inches long because I have a wide stance. But I find riding ace/slappy trucks shortens the wb just a bit, Along with smaller wheels makes it manageable. Have you tried a longer board?
I use to ride 32.5 and maybe one of them could have been 33 with 15in WB. And yeah the ace and small wheels Iâm sure help balance it !
That's funny I'll write F n B on the bottom of the trucks we skating a baker right now I usuly skate blanks cause they break all the time and I be skating convers at the moment been looking for some dope shoes to skate lately
Iâve been wanting to ride a baker deck just need to find it with 14in wheelbase
Also I ride my front truck significantly looser. So I always know
Oh word!
Are your indy 149s forged hollows or standard hollows?
I can tell my front truck because the nut is turned a different position than the back lol
I canât switch crook so I look for the crook groove for my front truck
đđčđŻ
I want a 9.0 with those specs
Searat skateboards makes 9in with 14in wheelbase and can prob do 31.5in length too
I feel so scary on short boards, i broke my ankle with one 31.5, after that never skate something shorter than 32"
I dont' have front and back trucks, I ride symmetrical.
And on my electric board which isn't symmetrical, the back truck has motors on it, LOL
Wow posted 54 seconds ago
Early !! đ„
Haha yea...Elle-oh-elle
My dumbass thought the shows were purple Bec of the box and I see some nice purple shots on the board man I was wrong lol
đ nothing about that shoe is red or black or charcoal itâs burnt orange and forest green đ«Ł
