EAT | Grilled Cheese Rollups + Homemade Ranch

- A fun twist on an old classic, these grilled cheese rollups are totally delicious. I included 2 of our favorite dipping sauce recipes (creamy ketchup and healthy ranch) because if you roll, you gotta dip. Subscribe to WUM for new vids M-W-F! bit.ly/sub2moms
INGREDIENTS
- slices of bread
- shredded cheddar cheese
- refined coconut oil, butter, or oil of your choice
DIRECTIONS
1) Warm bread in microwave for about 10 seconds. Using a roll pin, flatten bread.
2) Grease or butter bread. Sprinkle on cheese, avoiding edges, then roll up tightly. Secure with toothpicks.
3) In skillet, cook on low heat, covered, flipping as it browns.
For CREAMY KETCHUP: Mix equal parts mayonnaise and ketchup.
For RANCH: Mix 1/4 cup greek yogurt of mayonnaise with 1 tablespoon buttermilk. Add 1/4 teaspoon each garlic powder and onion powder. Add a pinch of dry parsley and a few grinds of black pepper. Snip in a couple of chives. Mix together.

Here are a couple of tips that make assembly slightly easier czcams.com/users/postUgkxCx5fHawkK9OoV-ojFrY8JLnZrFwAmvUt . 1) One person can assemble, but if you have a buddy to help, it will make it go faster - especially steps 1-3 and 8 (the legs aren't heavy but can be difficult to hold while screwing things in). Step 8, 1st part will take some time unless you have two more hands OR are really lucky. 2) Use a socket wrench! 3) Step 7, 3rd part - the flame carry over tube has an open side, MAKE SURE THE OPEN SIDE IS FACING THE FRONT. If it's facing the back, the tube won't work. 4) Step 10, 3rd part - if you don't have small hands (I don't, they're gigantic) getting the nut on is really difficult (but not impossible). It took me about 4 hours to assemble, but I took a "union break" every 60-90 minutes and ate a quick lunch. Also, I'm really OCD so I took my time, looked at the instructions carefully, and cleaned up as I went.
In my family we have been doing the "creamy ketchup" since we moved to the States, 15 years ago. Back home, in Argentina, there is a sauce that's called "salsa golf" and it is so good! The only thing we found here that is similar to that sauce is mixing mayo and ketchup together. But nothing like the real sauce!!

That “creamy ketchup” is cocktail sauce 😂😂 it’s the same stuff that goes into a prawn cocktail and it tastes amazing 😍😍

i made these with the ketchup sauce, just for a little snack, and oh my god it was so good. definitely gonna make it again.
My mom used to make peanut butter and jelly wraps when I was little and I loved them for some reason. It's just a tortilla spread first with peanut and then with homemade jam and then folded like a wrap. I guess it's just a way of mixing up something boring.

I make these - A put garlic butter with chives and then we put them on the grill when we grilling our meat. SO Good. All cheese to it too is also good!!

I've actually made something very similar to that. I'd cut the crust off, roll the bread real thin. Add a slice of american cheese in the middle of the bread. roll a hot dog from the one corner, all the way through. Secure with tooth picks. Bake at 350 until the hot dog is done. So Good!
I tried the ranch recipe before and it was not my favorite but I have never tried the grilled cheese before and it looks rely good so thanks for that.💕love you

In New Zealand we call them cheese rolls and we add onion soup mix powder into it and we've been making them for years!!!

My dad did this when I was younger and called it "American Quesadillas" since my mom always did quesadillas (basically the same but with tortillas) and because my mom was sick so, he made it and It was delicious
