I have a lot of cold steel knives. I get them from Amazon, the knife center and blade HQ. I never once got a bootleg knife from Amazon from what I understand it is possible but you can tell the difference if you look closely the one you have is definitely a real cold steel. I have the same one from the knife center.

I think your machete is legit, I don’t think it’s a fake. People are quick to call things fake these days. Fake gear usually stands out like a sore thumb. Awesome reviews on this and the Tramontinas. I enjoy using machetes too.
Amazon has gotten bad about letting bootleggers on their platform but I have one of those & everything about it screams that its a Cold Steel. Besides that those things are already so cheap it really wouldnt be worth much to bootleg them. Thats my 2 cents anyway.
