Loved the idea of this journal, but right away I said "I don't have beautiful papers & wallpaper items like Nina's, there is no way I can collect enough items to make one that is as beautiful and full as hers!" Then I started hunting through my stash and I had to force myself to stop because otherwise I could make 3 or 4 of these journals. I'm working on making the cover now, hope to have something I can post tomorrow. Having fun! :)

This is a brilliant project. I'm gathering supplies to make 124 Valentine's Day cards in the next 3 weeks, when I'm done, this is what I'll do to put things away. Thank you so much

What a neat idea. I’m a visual person too. If I walk by something or flip through something ideas pop in my head. If I store it away…it becomes out of sight out of mind.

Thank you for this video of the flowish folder! I'm absolutely going to make one for my scrap storage! I never would have thought of that in a organized fashion! Now I got to start collecting all of my scraps in my drawers lol. ❤️

So exciting to see all your scraps etc Nina, they are gorgeous. A friend of mine orders an annual subscription of House and Garden magazines for my birthday, and every month, I tear out lots of pages with beautiful images. It was my birthday last Wednesday, so I can't wait to receive my first magazine of this year. I save freebie cards I get in the post too. So I will be making a folder like yours as it's a great way of storing things isn't it. Thank you for sharing it with us. Have a great week, take care xx

This is just a brilliant idea. I love how all those bits and pieces are contained AND really easily accessible. Wonderful to be able to flip though all those papers by simply opening the book and without papers going everywhere. Folding larger papers into a book is a great way to manage the size of those wonderful but harder-to-store big pieces. I'm really looking forward to seeing this in action and the pages that are created in 2022. I find your work very inspirational. Love that you and Kylie are such a great ying and yang pair.

Good golly! You certainly have a deep stash. For the record, I think you may live in a place where those kinds of beautiful items are every day acquisitions. I haven’t seen a decorative paper bag in years, every store in the US is fully committed to plastic, flimsy ugly one use plastic bags that decorate our ditches and trees. And your junk Mail is stunningly gorgeous too. Ours is pretty boring. I have learned to “shop” for papers and images at the Interstate rest areas where they have huge racks of beautiful pamphlets. So I am a little envious and yet I have PLENTY of things to put into a flow is h journal. I am inspired - when I travel I like to take supplies with me so I can make art as I go and this wil be a thing I can grab and go with without having to spend a lot of time deciding what to take. As always, hoping you are staying well and looking forward to the prompts for next year.

Wow Nina! What a lot in one place! And so much easier than sifting through all the papers in their drawers. Only trouble is, I'll end up emptying the drawers then have to find a space on the shelves! But I'm loving the idea; and I love Kylie's video as well - it's so nice to have two similar interpretations at the same time. It's been a lovely start to my day. Thank you. 💕

Loved seeing how you did the elastic. I like the idea of not having to punch holes and do grommets.

Oh Nina I love this idea! Such a great thing to organise bits and pieces. I have such a small crafting space this would really help sort out things I keep losing and forgetting about. Brilliant. thank you x

Really enjoyed seeing how you've collected your bits and bobs and now for the drum roll of how to put it all together. So looking forward to your next episode.

The ideas for this flourish style organizer looks very helpful. I think I will do this to get myself organized more fully. Thank you to both of you.

I got a kick out of your nick names from your kids. My daughter once called me her "maternal parental unit" LOL. Kids are just too funny. I love this journal idea. I have stuff all over and it's less likely I will use it if I have to search for it. All in one place, great idea. Your folio came out beautiful! Thanks for sharing.

omg!! I think this is going to be another great project. Just a suggestion - I bought big binders from the thrift shop (only 2$!!!!) and covered them with whatever is inside ie stamps I took some wrapping paper and stamped away and then covered the binder. This way I can see at a glance where my stamp binder is !! and you can take the mechanism out and replace with elastics. I have my stamps in presentation plastics so I can see and take them out! But I do like the idea of keeping all those big pages in an elastic. Great idea!!! I think some of my binders are about to lose their mechanism!!! Pockets on the cover is definitely the way to go! I keep my to file things in there! The mini photo albums with plastic inside are perfect to keep your die-cuts!! the steel ones for your Big SHot etc. I had one in my stash with 150 plastic pages from the 90's I use all the time. Another had both slots for CD's and plastic which fits the cutters perfectly. The plastic was much better quality than today!! Not all thrift stores sell the same things but it's a start! There are other cd cases with a zipper around it which is perfect for that! I have always enjoyed your videos and you will always be my inspiration! Thank you

I love this folder. I got a great chuckle out of your stash of bags and packaging tags! I save all those bits and pieces as well.
