So cute! My favorites are the shorts, and the bag you did at the end, that could be used for anything, really. I don't have a heat press or even a mini iron, but I think with some patience, I could do the same thing with my regular iron. (I've watched videos of some people have claimed that it will work, although longevity of the design was not mentioned.)
I would love to see more embroidery projects. After seeing your cute creations, I bought an embroidery machine. It is so fun to use for gifts! I also copied you and bought a heat press like your pink one but chose the aqua one. Your projects are wonderful!
Unfortunately my mother passed away back in Feb 2019 with my father following very shortly after the same year just in December 2019 so i don't do mothers day anymore not even for myself but its ok i have lived a long way away from them for a very long time so i am finally moving forward with my life as best as i can, but it is lovely of you to ask what we are crafting for mothers day. I am still working on organizing my craft room in our over sized garage loft. i haven't had much time to craft in the past year or two because my craft room was all packed up and now i have a dedicated space its taking me a while to get things done as we bought a lovely property with a barn 11 acres and a paddock and shelters all ready and waiting for us when we moved in. now i have 5 horses and a dog and two barn cats to take care of i purchased the 5th horse yesterday he is a Clydesdale cross and he is big and beautiful with the biggest set of hooves i have ever seen. I have always wanted a draft horse and this boy caught my eye the moment we moved in. he is so sweet and so gentle and he spent most of the time i was at my neighbours place while we were talking licking my hands and then my arm. i had to have a shower of course but he is such a sweet boy. he has to be 17 hands high or even close to 18 hands high. I am glad you have the craft room you have always waited for its always so pleasing to the eye, Bethany. I am glad i found you purely by accident but i subscribed right at the end of the first video. Your new craft room is gorgeous i saw the videos as you were putting it all together i love every thing about it. I have a loft space but it is the biggest space i have had to create yet. i have my zones and i am a little OCD on how i want my craft space to look, I have been using my cricut to make labels which is something i have wanted to do for ages, I have had my Cricut explore air 2 for 4 years and this is the most i have used it since i got it.. When i have more time i can start using it for something other than a label maker. Your ideas do inspire me for sure and i love listening to you talking about what you do and how wonderful it is to be a mum i loved being a mum too but now i love being a mum and a grandma too. I have two gorgeous Grand Daughters one is 11 years old and the other is 4 years old they came to stay with us over the weekend and its always lovely to have them staying over but boy do i feel like i need to bottle some of that energy for myself. i love them to pieces. I had no idea they had transfer tape for paper, I'll have to check it out. Usually I take my contact paper and stick it to my clothes a couple of times to make it less sticky
I don’t speak to my mother anymore and my MIL is…not into this kind of stuff like I am. I love what you show and inspire us to do. I won’t be crafting anything big for anyone this year. Sometimes I do treat boxes and take them to the church for the mothers. I just don’t know if I have it in me this week. ❤ Otherwise I’ll do my best to enjoy the week. Make my MIL a card and enjoy the day, whatever is planned. My sweet 12yo daughter has plans. 🥰 Happy Mother’s Day to you Bethanie!
I've done glitter iron on on a little jewelry box like you showed us. I didn't have problems flattening our the faux leather but I didn't iron on for a full 30 secs. It might just be the foil iron on

I just wanted to let you know that the same thing happened to me when I did iron on on a make up case one year for Christmas. It melted it a little bit.😢

I make these all the time and instead of using paper I use a piece of the backing for the vinyl and cover the entire thing. So I get a 4-in square and then cut out my vinyl at the bottom of the 4-in square. Then put a piece of paper down. Otherwise, your iron will definitely melt the faux leather

Hey Bethany, I am still watching but I wanted to ask before I forget, the low tack transfer paper, would you be able to use that for card making to keep your die-cuts in the pattern you want and then to place them onto your card base, kind of like people do with the 'plastic wrap' stuff which I can't remember the name of? We don't get the wrap stuff in the UK, but I bet we could get low tack paper, so if it could be used that way too, that would be FAB!? x. (it's just come to me like 'Press n Seal'. he he)

I bought the brown sugar font from fontbundles, but I can't get it to change from an OTT file to an SVG file. Any suggestions? I just love the font! Mary
Once you have downloaded the font to your device, you can open Cricut Design Space. Then you just click "text" and select that you want the fonts on your device.
That should pull up a search bar and you can type in the name of your font. After that you can write whatever text you want and then cut it out. I hope that helps you!
Is there a trick to cutting teeny font like that? I have a maker 3 and really small font doesn’t seem to always cut so letters get pulled up 😢

I love foil transfers the most. If I’m being honest, I’m a bit disappointed because I was excited to see you do a large transfer on your large heat press, but you did small ones that could have been done with the mini press. 🤷♀️ So what’s the use of getting the bigger one? I’m honestly not trying to be rude or mean, it just doesn’t make sense to me.
