Slight mistake in this. The Kippax was not the name of the Main Stand. The Kippax was the terrace opposite the main stand.

Both Maine Road & Wembley's first games took place in 1923, both were demolished in 2003, the last games at both grounds ended in a 1-0 defeat for the home side, both games were managed by Kevin Keegan!

Dont know where they got the info from but they had gates of up to 50,000 at Hyde Road (not 40,000) which resulted in injuries and pitch incursions meaning they needed a bigger ground.
The Main Stand didn`t burn down during a match and nobody lost their lives it burned during the night in November 1920 and was thought to be the work of the IRA after the uprising in 1916.
Their ground needed to be bigger the idea Maine Road initially held 35,000 is very wide of the mark it was an 80,000 capacity stadium. Demand was such that by the early 1930s it had risen to 85,000.

Nothing ever beat standing on the Kippax, though there are also amazing memories of going to away grounds and out singing the home supporters.

Fun Fact: The final look of Maine Road before its demolition in 2003 mostly resembles the Old Trafford (facade design of most stands) and St.James Park (the taller stand).

If you are going to upload content, get it right. Your video states Maine Road had a main stand known as the Kippax. The Kippax was actually the stand opposite the maine stand. The capacity was far more than the 35,000 younstated. The first match had a capacity of nearly 60,000. The ground was known as the Wembley of the North. Dont bother if you can't get your facts right 🤔😡
