what size hole do you drill for the upper entrances and how many per super

Hey Sammy that's a great question. Those are additional entrances for the bees to enter when they are very full of bees. That way the nectar gatherers don't have to fight there way up through the brood chambers to deposit the nectar in the honey super. They can just fly directly in the super.
