    --------------------------------------------
In Deliverance, you take on the role of an elite angelic warrior in the army of Heaven. Since the victory on the Cross, you have hunted the fallen angelic Princes. Once your faithful brethren, they now lead Satan’s forces of Darkness in a bitter war against the humans, bent on corrupting every last soul. In a bid to end their reign of chaos, you have planned a daring mission into one of their great Strongholds - The seemingly quiet human city of Fallbrook.
Armed with your weapons, courage, and your God-given angelic powers, you and your faithful allies must overcome legions of demons to slay their leader. But be watchful, for the darkness of the mortal world seems to be spreading into the spiritual realm.

You moved Uriel straight across the blue glowing line, the blue lines are impassable.

The game is phenomenal. It is also very fun to play (i finished the campaign and played a couple of skirmish). I am glad you were finally able to give it a review.
Your main critique about board movement is fair, but managing the darkness track and the saints balanced and complexified the experience enough for me.

This game is phenomenal, and the production value is incredible- I also play with the standees rather than minis, the color is worth it!

    LOVED this whole campaign!

Very good point! I did not realized that, although art is amazing, it's barely influence the positional strategy (which I would have like a bit more) - A good example is Machina Arcana - Each board requires strategic thinking, giving lots of options.

Have only played a couple of rounds, enjoying it so far. Looking forward to playing the campaign through with some friends.

Really enjoy this one, can't wait to start up the campaign. I think an expansion could help it add it a bit more unique goals/victory conditions to help with those areas

I love the game. So easy to get started and so many attack possibilities. An expansion is coming to Kickstarter soon, so I hope the negatives you talked about are addressed. I agree with you that the 2 chapters of a game go from easy to many times, overwhelming.

In my first game we had the exact opposite experience. We almost died on turn 3 of the initial board, but after leveling up the prince was quite a pushover.

Great vid as always! Would you recommend this or Unmatched Tales to Amaze?

This game is fantastic. the campaign is really good, has great character building, unique scenarios, and a great experience overall. nothing like moving 11 spaces, destroying 2 demons, healing 4 damage, and ending with a courage for your trouble. while the skirmish is great, it doesnt allow for the growth the campaign does.
a lot of what you are wanting from spawn variety to map/objectives are in the campaign. the campaign has a lot more variety than the skirmish mode. the scenarios are akin to DMD.

its a shorter campaign as well. 14 missions. if you fail, you get a bonus when you try again. not the 400 hr variety thats hard to finish. iirc, its likely in line with your preferences@@BoardGameCo

You should do a review of the campaign, that's where this game shines :)

Wish this wasn't a co-op: this would have been a cool asymmetrical skirmish game. Playing the prince would have been awesome!

Did you play solo? If so how many handed did you play?

I prefer Deliverance over Cthulhu DMD as it removes the luck factor from the dice in combat, which I heard was the main negative feedback of most reviews.

You said saints start possessed. They start oppressed.

I saw this advertised on Facebook as a "Christian game." The angel vs demon war in heaven thing is Christian-adjacent and much more pop culture/folklore than "Christian" but hey it got me interested enough to see a review! I'm very relieved to know it's not a game about memorizing Bible passages or praying together in order to win 🤣
