    Disadvantage of registering in bci
    1. You cant work full time salaried job such as law officer, legal consultants etc. Then you would no longer be a advocate. In this covid time junior advocates are not allowed to do any other job. They are forced to starve.
    2. You cant do other business not related to law. Then you become non practicing lawyer
    3. Bar council won't provide you any stipend as junior advocate.
    3. Part time job can only be done as law teacher.
    4. You can't get a locker and a bar room easily. Bar council is full of politics and the election of bar council is full of politics.
    5. Independent practice is super costly and bar council will not help there.
    6. Bar council is all about senior advocate who regularly bully junior advocates whenever they can. No sense of friendship exist in bar council. Senior advocates are worst enemy of junior advocates.
These are 6 disadvantages of joining bar council.
I am a practicing Advocate for 5 + years and I am telling the above mentioned points from my experience.

Indian Army releases the notification every year for 2 times I guess. You just have to follow the instructions. Vacancies are quite less and applications are huge. Their are lot of requirements apart from just a law degree especially physical and mental fitness. They take an exam called SSB, it's quite different from normal exams, you have prepare hard for that.

Heard that there is a law which binds a lawyer to earn money only by practicing law once the person is registered in BCI as an advocate and has been allotted an enrollment number. No other profession is allowed to be done besides it.
So lets say if ONE IS ENROLLED under BCI but DOESN'T PRACTICE LAW, then that person is eligible to do another profession or once registration is done, one is bound to practice/earn money ONLY through legal profession ?

    1. You get enrolled yourself as an advocate in advocate roll maintained by State bar council with requisite fees. then you get your provisional Certificate of practice valid for 2 year
    2. now if you want to Practice law
you have to file declaration and give exam AIBE then if you pass exam then you get COP
however if you failed exam..it doesn’t means you are ousted from advocate rolls and have to pay again for admission in roll
but you have to give AIBE exam untill you crack it

Bar council of India ka registration karane ke baad 2 year ka Temporary certificate mil jata h mtlb aap 2 year tak Advocate ke roop me Practice kar sakte ho but registration karane ke baad 2 year ke Ander aapko AIBE ka exam clear karna padega agr aap 2 year ke ander AIBE ka exam clear kar lete h to aap Aapka registration Parmanent ADVOCATE ke roop me ho jayega but agr aap 2 year ke ander AIBE ka exam clear nahi karte hai to aapke Advocate practice par tab tak ke liye Ben laga diya jayega jab tak ki aap AIBE ka exam clear nahi kar lete ho

It's not advocate or lawyer.. Bcz both don't hold same meaning. Lawyer cannot file cases, just has knowledge.. Advocate can practice in court.

One more thing to practice in SC u need to be Advocate that's it but to file a case u need to be AOR ( Advocate on Record) which can be by exam.
