  • FIGHTERS WHO STOPPED THEMSELVES FROM HITTING THEIR OPPONENTS BECAUSE THERE WAS NO NEED TO CONTINUE. Best sportsmanship moments in boxing and mma.
    Thank for watching.
Making lists all about mma, boxing, muay thai and all other types of combat sports from major promotions like HBO, UFC, Bellator, Showtime, Triller and others.
This channel is known as the first channel to introduce videos about regular guys challenging professional fighters. These so idiots vs professionals you should think they were going to win. How does a normal man believe that he can challenge a professional fighter and that he will win. It's almost impossible. I have also made videos about martial arts that are useless and you should not spend time learning them. I like to make videos on all types of martial arts including boxing, mma, muay thai, wrestling, and any other type of combat sport. Lastly, knockouts are a fundamental part of these sports and I make a lot of videos about this type of victory.

As a young guy, the most respect, manners, mercy and forbearance I was ever taught was during the time I was part of a local boxing thing where college kids in their spare time taught us boxing, ran a local competition (I did okay, was 3rd ranked out of about 30 kids, but the top two were an entire world above me and the rest). I still think back to that time as being a time in my youth when I wasn't depressed, unhappy. One kid was an unhinged kid with attitude, kept causing trouble, but the college kids running it kept trying to help and guide him. One day that problem kid picked a fight despite the other kid repeatedly trying to talk him down, the problem kid insisted on a fight, then got his ass beat in 30 seconds. The (upper class/influential) parents of the problem kid flapped loudly for days until the college kids were forced to stop mentoring/running the boxing group.
You know what almost never happened when we had that group? We weren't getting into bad trouble. We had a focus. We had mentors. We had a community. We had young men slapping us around a bit, making us wannabe young men learn how to be decent men, teaching us discipline. Broke kids were involved (like me), all the way up to kids with rich parents, but we were all friends, we were all equal in that community, we had each other's back. You just can't have nice things, someone can't stand it and has to tear it down.

Even if you signed up for it, people can die in the ring. I've seen greats in boxing matches pull back and call in the ref to stop fights when they were dominating their opponents. Instincts kick in and you can hurt somebody bad. When humanity kicks in, you have to be bigger than the sport. Boxers that killed their opponents in the ring are never the same. Yes it can happen, but what if you can prevent it? I fought amateur, my father fought pro. I've met tons of professional fighters, none of them would say anything dumb and stupid like what you just uttered. You have a lot to learn in life. You're an empty soul. A pathetic one at that.

Nobody with a normal mindset goes to "die" in the ring, and referee's job is to ensure the safety of the contestants. They are sportsmen and women, who have trained their sport diligently, and have lives outside the sport also. Their careers in combat sport will usually end before they turn 40, and then it is time for other things in life, like family, work and friends. Regular life. No warriors, vikings, monsters, knights, gods, but regular people, for most of whom the combat sport is not even a profession, it is a hobby. You want to be able to do stuff in your life also after you quit your hobby. And also "die" a warrior? Not very many die in the ring. Instead if you've met let's say any old boxers who have been subjected to too many fights with the kind of referee work seen in the video, or who have disregarded their safety when training, you would get a reality check. No warriors, but people, who have difficulties remembering things, speaking and understanding. And for what? Absolutely nothing.

I swear half the time the winners should be going, "Either stop the fight now or YOU are my opponent for the rest of the round!" I cant believe that one where the boxers both just stopped fighting themselves until the ref finally got the point that it was over. It makes you start to ask questions like, "Why are you even HERE if the boxers have to ref themselves?"

Keep in mind, most (not all) were still standing and still guarding. Should the ref call a fight when you are still actively guarding? How many fights would have ended because a skilled fighter was waiting for an opening?

But... refs stop the fight a lot more quickly in the modern era than back then. For an example of the change, the 3 knockdown rule was decades away when that fight happened, people expected fighters to keep going as long as they could be on their feet. Yes, boxers got a lot more concussions and brain damage, that's why the rules were finally changed. But the fact that stuff happened shows what was normal in that era. The ref was only a little bit slower than the norm. Btw, do people nowadays know the term "punch drunk"? That was the term for a retired fighter who permanently sounded drunk because of the accumulated brain damage. It was common enough that there was a slang term for it.
