The DREAM IS REAL! $10M Koenigsegg One:1 First Drive

- It's a day I've been looking forward to, my first drive in the epic Koenigsegg One:1! I'm with SuperVettura, the original Koenigsegg UK dealership and largest Koenigsegg retailer in the world with the most incredible line-up, ready to drive this unicorn MEGACAR!
The One:1 was the first production car to offer 1 horsepower per 1kg of weight, boasting 1,360hp and only 1,360kg, and there were only 6 full cars made alongside 1 prototype which is also here at SuperVettura with us alongside the navy blue carbon example which is the only RHD one to have been made. For this experience, I'm with Tommy, who I've now known for over a decade and filmed so many videos over the years.
We start with an extraordinary line-up; 2 One:1s, 3 Regeras, the Agera RST, an Agera R, CCR and there are even more in the workshop too. However, we're heading out with the navy carbon One:1 which has been used properly - in fact now with 10,000 miles on the clock. Having been lucky to drive almost every other Koenigsegg model; the Regera, Agera RS, Agera R, CCXR, CCX, CCR etc, however the One:1 has eluded me to date and I've been looking forward to this one! Not only that, but we're being joined by a Regera with James from SuperVettura and @ZachsGarage on the road too.
It's a huge thanks to SuperVettura and a congratulations for their ongoing success as the original Koenigsegg dealer and best performing one ever!

Most of the viewers won't realize this, but Tommy and SuperVettura are very much a reason why Koenigsegg still exists today, and why it has been as successful as it is. SuperVettura is not *just* the Koenigsegg dealer for the UK (since 2005), but they are the top Koenigsegg dealer in the entire world, both for sales and service. When Koenigsegg was a much smaller and less popular brand, SuperVettura raised their brand image through their position in the UK. A lot of early customers of the CC series cars were in the UK, and without those customers, Koenigsegg would not have remained afloat through the tough early years. Suffice to say, SuperVettura is worthy of thanks by every Koenigsegg fan for what the brand has become today.

@@chillinwithrob8057 There are about 225 Koenigseggs in existence. SuperVettura has sold about 80. That's more than one third of all Koenigseggs in existence that have gone through them. It's hard to overstate their impact on the Koenigsegg brand.

The interior looks that old though. No turbocharged V8's can sound as nice as NA ones.

What Christian has done in a small amount of time to make some of the best machines on earth is really amazing.. The Man & The Cars are absolutely EPIC
I'm aware that its built for shear speed, but making the interior a little nicer, or dull the sound just a tad so you could hold a conversation during acceleration would be a neat touch, albeit not a necessary one.

This will forever be my faveourite Egg they've ever produced. I was at Goodwood the year they launched and had the silver car/prototype and a full carbon one. So special, so cool and like all Egg's, the genius behind them is what makes them so much more special than any other super/hyper car.

Insane lineup! I was there towards the end of the day after i was done with school to see all of the cars for myself. It was amazing seeing all those cars there in one place and it was great to meet you 😁👍
I was at the Nürburgring at the time the One to One crashed. I remember talking to my son at dinner, the day before, about the cheerful crew with Koenigsegg clothes about how confident they looked. The day after we saw and heard the ambulance helikopter but thought nothing about it, but at dinner the faces of the koenigsegg guys had drastically changed and after some googling it all came clear )-:

I was luckey to see a one:1 last summer on a Danish motorway one day going home from work.. sadly it was going in the oposite direction. still get goosebumps when i think of it.

Mate they already tried before and their car crashed.
Yes, they were there testing but crashed due to a malfunctioning ABS sensor.
