How To Sturgis 2021 - Going Bankrupt at the Vendors...

  • A video sharing my experience with the vendors at the Sturgis rally. What is a good deal, what isn't, etc. I wanted to call out one really great vendor. I tell my story with them toward the end. The company is Coastal Moto, their wheels are top notch and their service is even better (not a sponsor or anything, I just a fan of Jason and the team). Their website is www.coastalmoto.com, go check them out!

Thanks for all your videos!! They are superb!! Went through Sturgis years ago (1988 or so) with my late Dad but we were driving a pickup from Michigan to Washington State. As we're going along we keep seeing more and more motorcycles and finally realized this was the Sturgis event. Kind of funny. But had no idea until watching your series everything that is going on there. Anyway, keep up the great work and safe travels!!

Bought my Pro Action suspension (rear shocks) at Sturgis. Super happy. They installed on my bike. No money exchanged. Sent me on a test ride. Come back they adjusted and tuned them. Sent me out again. Came back tuned them again. Ended up going out three times for them to fine tune them in. If you like them then you pay up. If not they will reinstall your original shocks and send you on your way for free. Can not get service like that from the internet. Super guys to work with. Wife now has them on her trike too. I just saw a video you did on patches. I happen to be a member of a historical organization who somewhere along the way came up with the idea of the ones who ride motorcycles could join and it came up with a patch. It is a three piece patch by the way. I can honestly say that it's only intention is recognition of the historical organization and the truth of history with facts to back it up. The top rocker says Mechanized Cavalry the lower rocker says the region where you normally ride. We do have officers etc for our area who do report all the way to the top of the organization. ( Which is National by the way. ) We are the Son's of Confederate Veterans. We have to show positive proof of our ancestors that really did serve. We do not have or put on an MC patch. COC at one time was working on recognition but I don't know what the outcome was. It's out of state that was doing the work but I don't know how to get with them. I did like your talking about this as it is normally never talked about. I look forward to your reply. I hope I didn't get to wordy as I I sometimes do. But I hope I did explain it properly.

The Mayor's run gets a commemorative Jack Daniels Oak kegs. I've hauled them from Lynchburg to Sioux Falls many times. There are many such things from the adult beverage distributors. I think it would be a kick, being a sober Ahole to have one of those kegs.
Its been decades since I did the rally, but I'm honestly considering it because of you this year. I know i can enjoy it without ever going to main street Sturgis.
House renting? I know club members renting the same houses ever year and they do some repair work just because! One percenters. They are the only reason I would consider being near.
Possible topic? MCs and MOs are being more positive and Respectful then weekenders?

How does someone license to market a product around sturgis? I taught math, so I did a study on a product line that actually impressed me in my truck, an really impressed me in my Harley an motorcycles! Company wants interested customers to store products in their garages, not venders booths? Thanks! Want so you do with your stock seat or pipes after you buy new ones!? I wish I had my stock slip one because the replacement are not street legal?

There is a contact form on the rally page. I tend to keep stock stuff unless its valuable, then I sell it on eBay.

@@ProfessionalMonkey I wanted a bike to run around Hoods Canal & Sound with while working on my 88' cam chain adjuster replacement. I was too cheap for $550 shipping from Florida, then too cheap for $440 out of North Dakota, but I could drive to N. Seattle for GL1500 Goldwing needing storage cleared for new beach front home construction! (no on buying big bikes during covid-19 governor lock down) an, if I picked it up soon I'll get $200 more off price. So I've got new project with reverse, as if we all need another project! You made me think of my used Harley coming with custom black lightening star wheels, that now won't hold air from pitting from tire inflation products! It would have been better if I had my stock wheels. Another issue with custom cast wheels is their weight, I'd like lighter wheels! Thanks!

Why? Sturgis is neutral ground. Ive gone every year since 2010 except ladt year because of lock down in Alaska and Canada would let be go through. Never needed a gun. Never seen anyone that needed one either. That includes the H.A. 's, Bandidos or any of the other 1% clubs that show up. All a weapon is going to do is cause you problems.
