      @janiiams Před 2 lety +1

      OMG, I am so sorry to take so long to answer. I missed your question when you posted it and it was a good one to ask. You'll be surprised how quickly HI-FLOAT dries with this method. It dries in a matter of only a couple of minutes but it stays barely tacky if the treated balloons touch each other for perhaps 15-20minutes or so.

    • @janiiams
      @janiiams Před 2 lety

      Hi Sandra, balloon shine doesn't dry like the Ultra HI-FLOAT which does quite quickly but the shine treatment instead stays kind of wet and oily. You would have to be careful and let your customer know not to put a design where people touch it or get it on their clothes or carpet.

    How long does it take to dry? Is it safe to touch hi-float? My concern is that the balloons may pop with the hi-float while blowing them up or if people touch them and then gets it on their hands even after it is dried. Should this be a concern or no? I always think of the customer and what could happen from a safety standpoint. Beautiful though.

      Sorry and sad that I missed your question until today 🙁HI-FLOAT is a very safe and completely benign product and dries very quickly in short time with the demonstrated outside dipping method. You'll be surprised how fast its no longer sticky and can be touched! It's a beautiful effect and I've used it for years and years without an issue.

    • @janiiams
      @janiiams Před rokem

      The HI-FLOAT dries quite quickly, just a matter of minutes so you need to work fast. For 15 minutes or so, they feel dry but if they touch each other they stick together a little, as shown in the video. After that they are great!

    Is that star confetti hard pointy table scatter, or out of flimsy foil?

    • @janiiams
      @janiiams Před 3 lety

      Good question! It was soft iridescent star shape confetti. You can use the same technique with many types of confetti but those made with stiff material and sharp edges are not a good choice on inflated balloons.

    Que tipo de cola e essa que você mergulho a bola?

    • @janiiams
      @janiiams Před 2 lety

      It is not a glue, it is a helium retention treatment to make helium balloons last for a long time rather than just one day without HI-FLOAT treatment inside the balloons. Check with your balloon wholesaler for Ultra HI-FLOAT! (Portugese translation) Não é uma cola, é um tratamento de retenção de hélio para fazer com que os balões de hélio durem por muito tempo em vez de apenas um dia sem tratamento HI-FLOAT dentro dos balões. Verifique com seu revendedor de balões para Ultra HI-FLOAT!

    • @thaiscamargo5468
      @thaiscamargo5468 Před rokem

      Não é cola é o hi-float 😉 um produto feito para passar por dentro dos balões e aumentar a durabilidade do gás hélio, aí como ele tem textura de gel ela usou para colar o glitter!

      HI-FLOAT is the best product for this to achieve the beautiful shine on the surface of the balloons. Other products can create a cloudy or looks streaky which is not pretty.

      I used floral acrylic framework made by Smither's Oasis and available at some balloon wholesalers and always from floral wholesale companies. They are called Loney dishes and columns and more. The components are available in a variety of sizes, are a little more expensive but wonderfully strong and beautiful.

      Both inflators are made by Premium Balloon Accessories. The big one I used to inflate the round latex with is the Twin-Air Sizer 2 Balloon Inflator which automatically sizes. The small one I inflated Reflex Silver 260s with is the Smart-Twist Inflator which has a rechargeable battery and is perfect especially for 60 series and 5”. Ask your wholesale distributor for pricing and availablility. Many Betallic distributors carry the whole Premium line.

      With a little practice, you'd be surprised how little HI-FLOAT you get on your hands. And, best of all, it's a high perceived value look design for just pennies so a huge money-maker. When I demonstrate this in live design education classes, I have one damp paper towel handy and half the time don't need it. Practice! 😀
