Just that wacken 2018 gig and bloodstock didn't sound all too well, but thats also down to the poor sound mixing. I'm waiting for the dvd to get the real blast from their Decades tour.

Thank you for the great quality footage, now I can see much better. Man me thinking JP and Ville were quite the baritones, Tapio is just amazing, what vocals are those? With time they just got deeper,. Great, great performance. The newer songs completely pale compared to their golden era. What a portent.
I think Tapio is more of a bass than a baritone, so his voice is deeper than those fine baritone gentlemen, hehehe.
And I agree with your assessment! Those songs feel more "alive" than the ones from the last album, and I feel like Floor shines through better with those older songs, too (the heavier, the better, it seems, hehehe).
nimedhel09 yeah I thinking might be a bass. He doesn't have much extension like the baritones but be is deeper.
@@LigeiaNoire According to his own words Tapio is a baritone. Definitely on the low end of the spectrum tough.
@@nimedhel09 she owns the heavier songs generally. There are only 2 - 4 songs where I might prefer Tarja version. On sleeping sun I'm not sure, I love both betaine equally. In general I usually prefer floors versions... She puts so much power and feeling into everything, and you can hear (and feel) it
@@dragonseye00 Yeah, I agree! I mean, I saw them during their Decades tour, and it was just out of this world! Though I still can't believe I finally saw them live for the first time, it's still like a dream, haha, and my fiancé makes fun of me each time I tell him that lol.
If only Nightwish had floor from the beginning
I loved the arts with Tarja and loved For with After Forever. I love For with Nightwish. Everything at its given time. Maybe its better that they are one now, as both, nightwish as well as floor have matured.
this is such a dumb comment, why are nightwish fans like this? they'd have ended up a whole different band with songs written for floor... a teenage floor.
