Fun fact. While watching gravity from 2013 with Sandra Bullock, my mom actually caught a mistake. While on the ISS, Bullocks character, Ryan Stone doesn’t have her hair moving freely, or up like in real footage of female astronauts in space. Something i didn’t notice until she brought it up.
Little mistakes like that would come up a lot if NASA is faking space missions, but we don’t. So i think on that regard, Its pretty safe to assume that NASA is actually doing what they say they are doing

He isn't bright enough to watch the nearly twenty minutes of the original video and see that Hadfield is "sitting" cross-legged for quite a bit. Chris must have abs of granite to be able to hold that position AND dangle from wires without flipping forwards.
Then there's also the minor inconvenience of Tom playing with the Makita drill and Hadfield floating the Nikon about. But the best part is how obvious Hadfield's watch is floating around completely without gravity's influence.

It’s funny to me that space deniers don’t believe that it’s possible to be in space, but acknowledge zero g’s in a plane is possible. The ironic part about being in orbit around the earth, is that that’s exactly what the plane trick is. The only difference is that the zero g’s in a plane has a time limit. All an orbit is, is an object constantly falling towards the earth, but because it’s traveling sideways at such a high speed, it’s always missing the earth. So of course you experience zero g’s in orbit. It’s the plane trick on a more permanent scale. You’re always falling so you always experience this weightlessness.

Also, I’m not just talking about this video. I’m talking about the dishonest way all of these “NASA LIES” videos get passed around. Like the famous “chromakey” video. They say it shows NASA using a green screen. The evidence? A video of an astronaut using a blue screen with a white grid on it (for measuring motion) can be seen on a screen in the background. That video was filmed for and disseminated to the public, yet people pass it around like it’s something that wasn’t meant to be seen… what a joke. Wasn’t meant to be seen? It’s on CZcams right now…

Yes, we all are! I used to believe in an almighty and invisible god that loves me until I was 10 and started wondering if some entity like that actually exists. When I was 19 I believed that there was strong evidence that aliens had visited Earth in the past. Who knows which of the beliefs that I hold today are equally nonsensical? I am 64 now and somewhere along the way I got degrees in chemistry and in physics and I have often been "accused" of having a scientific mindset. (I take that as a compliment even when I know the person stating it didn't mean it that way! 😜) It's really hard to know which of one's beliefs are utter nonsense and which aren't! Hopefully I have learned to be way more skeptical as I grew older but that doesn't completely protect me from holding nonsensical beliefs and that's true for all humans! At least I know that I can still give up strongly held beliefs even after multiple decades because I did just that about half a year ago. Still, I have no idea what nonsense remains in my little grey cells!

I watch your "flat earth" video with the same humor of knowing I should not drive by a road way accident, and slow down to view the carnage. You do a great job of countering all of the conspiracy theories of "...it was on a sound stage, with green screen...". Well done Dave.

They can hardly accuse anyone of cherry-picking, considering that is their modus operandi. They trawl through many hours of video, trying to find a few seconds they can claim are faked, while ignoring all that they cannot fault.

The hair is the most interesting thing to me in these video. Not because I think it's proof that it's fake. But because I don't understand why on ISS the hair stays up no matter what but on the 0G plane the hair floats like it's underwater. The hair clearly behaves differently on the ISS and those 0G planes for some reason.

On zero-g-planes, the people usually have nicely washed hair. On the ISS it is more sticky as water is limited.

Imagine being 18 and finding out your dad is a flat earther. My daughter was about to marry a guy, so we had his parents over for dinner. Future father in law starts going on about how the moon landings are fake. Run away, run away!

@@johnritchie3889 At least with the moon landing conspiracy there's a vaguely plausible reason for faking it even if the evidence isn't conclusive - believing that an unknown cabal of elitists (aka "they") are hiding the shape of the planet for no apparent reason with literally no supporting evidence is another thing altogether. If my daughter's future father in law believed the moon landings were fake I could let that slide ... but if he was a flat earther, yeah I'd have issues.

Imagine raising a child only for them to "grow up" into a spiteful, self-righteous, and judgemental, crowd follower who only appeals to authority and believes everything they hear without actually investigating it themselves. Why are you so bothered by opinions of complete strangers? Even have to hurl insults and talk down on them simply because they have different opinions on something that doesn't harm or affect you. It's really ignorant and only serves to slow your growth. Rise above it you are better than that. Be an adult.
