Usuki is a castle town located on the east coast of Oita Prefecture. It is known for the Usuki Stone Buddha, a national treasure, and for the production of soy sauce. It is also famous as the birthplace of writer Yaeko Nogami.

There is so much here it is hard to know where to begin. Love the Japanese Bobtail at 1:52 and the approach to the shine at 2:10. The ASMR of the rain on the metal roofing at 5:57. The details revealed by your videos are always exciting. 9:37 is stunning. I love the lampposts as they fulfill function and tie together the entire old town - just as intended. The Inaba family home is exquisite and it's garden is wonderful to behold. It must have brought great joy to the family back in the day. As I have a love of castles, it was fun to see what is left of Otomo Sorin's fortress. Of all the Buddhas I think the moment at 16:45 is the best. You always know how and where to end a video. The Hakuba valley and the climb associated with it is lovely, as are the bridges and waterfalls. Thank you for another pleasurable walk-through of a beautiful old neighborhood and the nearby treasures. It is nice to see Kyushu getting some love. Thank you, Anna.

I hope to show you even more wonderful scenery this year than I did last year.
I'm afraid I don't always get to watch your videos in a timely manner, because I save them for when I have the time to really talk them in fully. And I always end up loving them. I'm not sure what you do with the color grading, but seeing those vivid oranges pop out from the light gray of the overcast sky and the darker, splotchy grays of the lichen-covered stone was so soothing for the eyes. So many thoughts, from how the varied elevation of Usuki makes each house and street stand out, to the picturesque charm of Yaeko Nogami house, to the enchanted, fairytale-like hiking trails in the Hakuba valley with its little stone bridges and waterfalls.
Genuinelly, a feast for the senses, and deeply appreciated. Welcome back.

華美な装飾を排したかのような美しく落ち着いた街並は魅力に溢れてる。
野上弥生子さんの生家は洋風なのが面白い。
石仏をじっくり視たのは初めてかもしれません。圧巻ですね。祈りを込めて彫られた精緻な仏様に感動。

早から、昼にかけて濡れた石畳を反射する町並みが淡い青からオレンジに変わっていく様子がとても素敵でした（編集時に早朝の青色で統一しました（笑））。野上弥生子氏の洋風の家は、色鮮やかで城下町に慣れた目にはとても新鮮に映りました。石仏などの文化財は臼杵市内に点在していていつかすべて回ってみたいです。来年も何卒よろしくお願いいたします！！

Annaさん、お元気ですか。年末にこんな素晴らしい映像が見られてうれしいです😊Annaさんの好きな音楽からスタートして、雨とともに、時に泣きが入りながら、私を臼杵の町並みへ、くねった道を行きながら、お寺へ、城跡へ、石仏へ、そして、白馬渓へクライマックスに向かうように案内してくれました。町並みを様々なアングルから映し出す手法はさすがです。とても美しかったです。私が殊に好きなのは、たぶん翌日の薄曇りの石仏から白馬渓への道のりです。橋がやはり出てきて、向こうは山。石仏群は素晴らしかったです。こんな場所が日本にあるのですね。こんな美しい石窟仏像、自分の目でもぜひ見てみたいです。白馬渓の表情はどこも好きすぎました。優しく柔らかな、それでいてくっきりと描き出される木々。最後に上りつめる先は、木々に覆われた池、そして最後やはり臼杵の町が見える美しい風景でした。今年もありがとうございました。よいお年をお迎えください😊😊

ここ半年近く、youtubeではLily様の作品を堪能させていただいておりました。毎回とても良い刺激になっております。臼杵は、観光の施設や設備がとても充実していて、飽きることなく過ごすことができました。白馬渓はぜひとも紅葉の時期に行ってみたいです。
薄曇りの風景に注目していただけとてもうれしいです。白馬渓までの橋では、太陽が雲に薄く隠れる瞬間をじっくりと待っておりました（笑）
白馬渓から展望台への最後の数メートルの坂は、笑ってしまうほどの急登でした😊こちらこそ、今年もありがとうございました。来年も何卒よろしくお願いいたします！！

何度か臼杵をリクエストしましたがやっと見れて大満足です。
会社を辞めてからバイクで九州を一周しながら城下町を散策しました。
その際印象に残った街が知覧、飫肥、臼杵でした。
これらの街は一般的に無名でそんなに交通の便も良くない場所にあるのでかえって
乱開発されずに昔のまま日本情緒の雰囲気が凄く残ってますよね。
偶然なのか自分も臼杵を訪れた際、雨で地面が濡れていてそれが石畳をより美しく際立たせる
演出になるんですよね。
櫓が現存している臼杵城跡も圧巻の美しさですね。

この度、やっと臼杵を散策できました観光施設もとても充実していて素敵な時間を過ごすことができました。鍾乳洞まで散策したかったのですが、車がないと行けそうになかったのでまた別の機会に行ってみたいです。臼杵城跡も迫力満点でとても楽しかったです。素敵な街をご紹介いただき誠にありがとうございます😊

コロナが落ち着きどこも人が多くなりましたがAnnaさんの世界観が変わっていなくて安心しました。
