How can a mother rather her son be unhappy because she is embarrassed by her own past, it is NOT the girlfriends fault that the mother was irresponsible and acted crazy.

@@thushar2306 The GF didn't leave him, the mother was guiltily and abusing the son into staying by abusing him. We later find out she had PTSD and developed mental health issues. The GF's family took the father abd the son in when the mother abandoned them and remarried and started a new family. The only reason the son went to live with the mother was because of the car accident that killed her new husband and the left the mother severely injured. That sister is the sister from the new husband and not his father. The mother only used the son because her new husband was dead and she did a free caregiver for her daughter from the new husband who was dead.
Whoever wrote this mother character wanted to portray the worst of the human condition on a female monster .... and he/she succeeded. Never wanted someone dead more than this woman

Ita good thing the female Dr straightened the mom. For someone who was even there to raise the son, how can she impose upon him the choice of z wife to her liking. I find it sad that an adult child is being treated this way, because I do not see him as an irresponsible son. If I were him I would just leave. This filial bullshit makes me sick. It's a parent's responsibility when they bring a child in to this world to help them grow in to decent and happy human beings, without expecting anything in return. But it seems from what I've seen from these Chinese and Korean dramas that these parents treat their kids as objects and pawns in business. So disgusting. He's been working with his colleague long before his Mom showed up, if there was a chance for something between them it would've happened without his mom's interference! This psycho mom is the worst I've seen in any Asian drama, the mom in Something in the Rain (Kdrama) comes second. That Mom treated the potential son-in-law bad, this psycho mom treats her own child badly by abandoning him and making him feel guilty for his sister's death!

About a year ago, I started watching it again, and I stopped at episode 10, because that's where everything starts going seriously pear shaped, and her friend (his sister) is almost as bad as her mom is. And what’s with grown children with their own careers living with their Parents, it’s so weird, as soon as my 2 sons left for University they lived away from home from then on. I certainly wouldn’t allow them to move in with me after they got into relationships and married.... these parents need to let their children fly free, be independent, make their own mistakes and learn from them, I told my sons in choosing their wives to be wise and choose well they were the ones that would have to lay their head on the same pillow with them every night for the rest of their lives, and whoever they chose their father and me would respect their chose. If these series are portraying reality ( at least to some extent) its no wonder they have such dysfunctional children! It’s shameful...
