SEGA had already developed the SegaScope 3D glasses which, with the same amount of R&D, proper headphones, and maybe a chest-worn feedback belt, could've made for very realistic VR even with the Genesis.
That Berenstein Bears was actually released. My sister and I grew up playing it. It's actually a pretty decent little platformer that has two player co-op.
I've only just come across your channel the other day and I subscribed. I like what you do. I feel that there's no bull shit with you. You don't seem to f*** about and more or less get straight to the point of what you're talking about because so many other channels just pad the hell out of it where you think to yourself just get on with it. Probably because they don't have much to say, like a school kid using the biggest point size on their font just so they can fill the page. Oh my God, is that what I'm doing right now? Mother f***** Anyway keep up the good work mate.
Appreciate the comment! Yes, I consciously try to get right to it. There are a lot of channels I watch and immediately just skip the first two minutes!
Great video! I love the Genesis! I need to find that Star Raiders clone. Played a ton of that on my Atari 800. Worms the directors cut on Amiga is a lot of fun, especially if you have somebody to play two player with.
Hey Greg. Just subscribed to your channel . Saw you on the Adam the Woo vlog at Arcade 80's . Love your game room set up and looking forward to checking out your content.
Surprised I skimmed through the whole video and didn't see Sonic Crackers. While it may not necessarily be a 1:1 fit depending on your definition of "released", Mad Stalker: Full Metal Forth would also be a nice choice for a video like this.
Nice vid. You should make a video on the Taiwan unlicensed games from the late 90’s … Lion King 2 and 3, Top Fighter 2000 is a great one … best roster ever…. Also a couple of Amiga game port roms for the MD/Genesis which are cool to see, Magic Pockets, Rick Dangerous 1 and 2 … search and you can find them easily :). Thanks
i was always thinking while watcing this most of the games look like amiga games ... like top grade amiga games .. but that's why prob they didn't even make it because genesis had better graphics
Akira was an awesome movie, a must see for any fan of anime, and even if you are not.
I just watched it a few days ago!
“Robot wreckage” is probably a prototype of Cyborg Justice which did get released. I remember spending a good amount of time on that game as a rental.
Right, that was the title I was thinking of!
100% it is.
I had no idea that any of the Genesis VR games even exist in beta. Wow, that’s awesome!
Yeah I didn’t show the text that read “VR helmet not found” or something to that effect.

Interesting. I think this was a beta then.

Great stuff, my friend! Many of these I'm seeing for the first time, so thanks to you, I'm looking forward to trying them out this weekend.
Was surprised how good some were!
ADAM SENT ME HERE... I saw you on his video.. I just subscribed ☺
Thanks!

Thanks! I’d suggest the Friday the 13th NES video. ;-)
Thanks, nice video.
Great video esp VR game proto

I did that for NES, so I probably will for Genesis too.
@@GregsGameRoom make it happen mate.. Top Fighter 2000 is a hilarious (and not 'too' terrible) fighter... watch the intro :)
Dragons Lair appears to be a port / conversion of the super nes version.
Yeah I thought it was!
10:13... I didn't know they made a video game about a wwf wrestler
Awesome vid
You should try Baby Boom and Mr Nutz: Hoppin' Mad
They both sound terrifying.
Worms did get released but only in Europe I think.
Yes, certainly owned it in the UK

Young Indiana Jones was released. The prototype looks and plays as bad as the released version.
Ugh...
Not
knowing akira…
