The Saem does amazing concealers! Even their Perfection Tip concealer is incredible and the price point makes it such a steal.

agreed, the cover perfection tip concealer has been my favourite for years now!! i'm still trying others but keep coming back to that one 💕 also started using the triple colour concealer recently, i enjoyed their old pot concealer too but this formula is really different! been liking it so far :)
The Rom&nd juicy tints are my HOLY GRAIL. Soooo comfy, wonderful color selections, super easy to use, layerable/buildable, natural finishes. I love them to death.
For shine, they have two other formulas mean for shine (juicy isn’t meant to be super shiny), I think water drop?

@@j.uuuuudy sorry, I butchered my comment badly on mobile! the very shiny tint series is called "Glasting Water Tint" (it definitely tints, but also has a little bit of transfer so just be wary!) -- they have clear caps. they also have a "Glasting melting balm" which sits on the lips and doesn't tint, personally I don't like it as much as their actual tint lines :) the Juicy Lasting tints are still my favorite since they have a natural finish and a creamy texture!
i love my rom&nd lip tint! i usually apply a thin layer, diffuse it with my fingers and then i go in with a second layer in the center and if i don't touch it and don't smack my lips the shine is beautiful ✨️
For super glossy lip formulas I love the Rom&nd glasting melting balms and the espoir mega melting balms. Kbeauty is killing it on the lip products front ❤

I got the Rom&nd Juicy Lasting Tint a couple years ago because of the hype and it didn't live up to expectations. It lost its shine quickly and did not wear well throughout the day. I just got the Unleashia Non-sticky Dazzle Tint because of you and I love it, it's exactly what I wanted in a lip tint. Definitely want to try the Saem concealer trio pot as soon as I finish my current concealer! Thank you always for your helpful reviews, Judy 💛

I just bought a juicy lasting tint (shade fig fig) and I really like it but my absolute fav lip product is the romand glasting tint (shade rose splash) and it's so lightweight and glossy yet not sticky at all plus it feels like a very light lip oil! I really am hoping you'll eventually make a video of a romand lip guise bc they have so many formulas so far, I've loved them to pieces!
Omg I got stopped at security too for my makeup spatula leaving Auckland! I think they're getting more clued up to the spatula with all of us on the move haha!~
I'm surprised dasique eyeshadow palette didn't get included in the list, they're SO good, i've tried clio, romand, and dasique. I dare say dasique has the best matte, shimmers and glitters. Their glitters have colors in them (rose petal one) their mattes are ACTUALLY pigmented, especially for a korean eyeshadow brand, and the color options?? so good.

I'm so happy you're dipping your toes into featuring more k-beauty stuff Judy! Romand is a good brand especially for cool toned enthusiasts, but their Juicy Lasting Tint isn't for me, either. I much prefer their Zero Velvet Tints, I feel they are similar to Flower Knows' matte lip creams. They have very good eyeshadows, too!

Korean Eye Shadows are never pigmented. I think they are really easy for beginners because it allows for mistakes (like putting too much of one color in the wrong spot.) But for anyone used to pigmented or western eye shadows, it takes more work to get the color build up 😂
How do you feel about serums with dropper? Isn’t it better for them to be air tight?

As someone who looks like a 5 year old who went through her mother's vanity using western high pigment eyeshadows, olive young and korean eyeshadows are lifesavers 😂

I have all of this. So i’m a fan of korean beauty
we love kbeauty
i feel like a lot of k-eye shadow palettes are so chalky and non pigmented (and def so pale)... it's kind of annoying so i just tend to like ones that are primarily glitters since that's what k brands usually do pretty well
I use mine as almost purely transition shades for my colour pop eyeshadow palettes but it's not convenient to use 2 eyeshadow palettes when you could use 1
@@b.c.9358 i do the opposite where since i like korean eye glitters i’ll use my korean palettes with the nice glitters and then my western/american brands for base and transitions LOL… k-palettes don’t show up well as transitions for me because my skin is medium tone (darker than judy) so the mattes only look well for me if they’re on the more saturated/darker end
Here's my observations :
I totally understand but K-beauty is way less pigmented because korean makeup is focused on looking natural whereas in the West, we let the choice for makeup lovers to be creative with pigmented af colors in our eyeshadows. I feel like Chinese makeup is kinda the middle ground between these two ? Like chinese mattes are slightly more pigmented than Korean but still less than the Western mattes. However, Chinese glitters are sparklier (for example : Flower knows).
It's all up to our own preferences, I think. For example, I prefer Chinese makeup between the three, but Korean makeup fits the most for office/formal makeup and Western makeup makes me happy when I wanna play with colors. :)
c-beauty eyeshadows are defs much better!! softly pigmented and lots of glitters!
i have to try some other brands could just be lilybyred - i dont have an issue with unleashias formula!
yep that's right the middle ground is indeed the palette of c beauty brands. they're honestly so underrated. the palette of their makeup is somehow balanced to go for either subtle or bold. Additionally, i think c makeup application techniques is something to be appreciated as well. I learned a lot of new makeup techniques from them on tiktok. They're quite unique in applying makeup as some of them follow the 3d technique application style (e.g. the lip plumping effect through makeup) which I've never seen nor learned in korean styles.

I have the anua toner the roundlab toner and abibs pads and they don’t do anything. Im definitely convinced k skincare is a scam. Plus yes i agree the anua cleanser oil breaks people out
