I used to go with relatives in the early 80s as a child,I found the decals, colours names and styling a lot more classier than today's imo,I see them today and they're still works of art but it's streamlined & neater, I hate seeing modern saloons on a drag strip now,but I know that's where some cut their teeth so it's the way it is

Always make a visit to Santa Pod whenever I go back to the UK but have been disappointed with the nitro finals. It was just half runs and the boring rocket bike, Will be visiting again this year but I want to see real racing.Can anyone recommend dates to go?
I love that period correct lace two tone paint at 9:55. Also nice to see Clive Skilton's cavalier funny with the other period cars .Is that the original "oblivion" hilman mini funny? boy does that bring back some memories!
