People seem to not understand what " inspired by" means...they expect the show to be a replica of the book. But no one ever said it will be...the story is inspired by events in the book...it's not the book exactly. And they'll never enjoy the show until the let go of those expectations...

I don't understand how the wife went from a romantic story to gangsterism. I stopped watching in season 1 anyways but they still continued with this storyline even though the public is very unsatisfied

It doesn't entice envy in the love department, you don't even catch yourself smiling alone at the screen like an idiot. It's not romantic
