  • This is a little video on how I create a full-figure penguin bead. Of course, when Christmas comes around, you can also add a little Santa hat on his head (or any other hat you wish), lol!

    Thank you so much for this video. A friend just asked me to make her a penguin bead, and using your tutorial I was able to do that quite easily. The end result is just adorable. THANK YOU!

    I loved this video, I have made bird beads and this helps so much. Can you explain- it goes in a kiln? Usually I just lay the bead in a non burn blanket to cool.

    Thank you for a brilliant video - I have one question :-I noticed when you were making the head the bottom of the penguin was out of the heat a lot longer than I expected it to be and you only seem to give it a brief warming - how come it didn’t explode or crack???

    Thank you so much for this video😊👍By the way, I have a question about your metal rod. What is the white substance on your metal rod?If you answer this, I'll very happy thanks :)

      @SandyHuntress Před 3 lety

      It's bead release, a clay substance that allows the bead to be separated from the metal. If you made the bead directly on the metal rod, it would be stuck on there forever.
      After the bead is completed and cooled you soak the whole thing, rod and all, in water. It dissolves the bead release and you now have a hole in your bead where the rod once was. :-)
