Basically some people never watched The Clone Wars
They should
Or Revenge of the Sith
Nobody should ever watch anything from Star Wars beyond parts IV-VI. If not because how bad other iterations are, then just to avoid you nerds spamming their personalised YT frontside with trash content.

"Roger Roger"
They probably think the Morgan stuff on Dathomir is set after Ahsoka Season 1.
Lol for real though
Honestly if they did really bring him back as a "Somehow Grievous returned" I wouldn't even be mad. I love this guy.
They can say it, but then they have to explain themselves
I would. The dead need to stay dead
â@@richardzaloudek8208the only possible justification would be nightsister magic putting Grievous's soul in another body like nk necrosis(legends), because the guy was burned alive, I can't see him coming back other than that
and i wouldn't be mad, i love grievous, just need a GOOD justification like maul, not somehow palpatine returned
â@@richardzaloudek8208Easy. NK-Necrosis. The android the Empire made with what mechanical parts were left of General Grievous' corpse. I'd love to see this character return to canon.
This reminds me of Jedi Fallen Order when Merrin talks about an armored warrior with lightsabers eliminating her people, and youtubers going "oMg iTs dArTh vAdEr!!!"
To quote the only good line in that cat in the hat movie: you are not just wrong, you are stupid
I guess "YOU'RE FIIIRRREE-DUH!" or "dirty ho' ... no, I'm just kidding, baby, I love you" or "get out of my way, you hippie freak" or "Judas Priest" or "This is just like a ride at an amusement park!" "You mean like at Universal Studios? **wink** Ka-ching!" were not good lines.
We even saw this in motion pictures in the Clone Wars đ€Šââïž
no way lmao kkkkkkkk
âSomehow general Greivous has returnedâ was too good of a joke to make.
Basically some people dont understand proper story writing ok
I just glad we get to see Clone Wars season 7 design for Grievous do something other than just stand there...MENACINGLY
The return or my favourite character.
"Your a bold one"
_âaggressive cough intensifiesâ_
After so many teases itâs nice to see grevious fully realized in the new animation
You know, there is that one movie that includes that scene, featuring that line "Somehow Palpatine returned", so I can't completely misunderstand those people...
Yeah but Iâd guess they got that idea of bringing palpatine back from legends, and Grevious never came back in legends. It would be even worse IMO
@@Vor1ki True, but I think the idea of bringing Palps back in canon on the big screen, WITHOUT AN EXPLANATION sucks ass enough already
@@felixalber2662 oh we have an explanation, it's just not in the movie itself, which still sucks
â@@Vor1kiactually, in legends, he kinda comeback like NK necrosis
I mean, in legends he was brought back. Maybe thatâs were theyâre getting confused
Wait, I think you mistaken something here - it wasn't Grievus himself, it was his CORPSE, and specifically Droid/Cyborg part, that was turned into a droid with Lightsaber-staff(s?). But I don't know much other than this shard of post-Prequels Legends Grievus content, so there may be other post-Prequels Legends stories about him and you meant that in your comments.
Some people would just hate anything Disney Star Wars produced because it's trendy.
No. Some people hate Disney star wars because Disney can't move forward and has no balls.
If we donât get Nightsister Merrin (as a kid ofc), Zannys gonna go on a rampage
It's really annoying when folks can't see the Forest for the trees when it should be obvious that it's flashbacks.
But those who spark these arguments are just trying to get people's backs up about Star Wars being a Disney property and making up stuff like; "Disney's breaking continuity" or "Disney brought back a fan favourite character to bring back the fans."
Instead of just being happy that we're seeing Grievous back at all. đđđ
This may be a flashback to either two different events:
A) The Battle of Dathomir from Clone Wars S4 I think
B) The Battle we see in Son of Dathomir issue 3
Love to see more of Lady Morgan.
She was interesting to say at least. I hope they have something nice to improve the character, because so far i consider her better average
Me: Somehow....
Them: *ITS A FLASHBACK*
Me:...Grievous Returned
First rule of Star Wars canon: Learn the timeline.
Somehow, General Grievous returned
I guess some fans havenât seen the awesomeness of TCW yet.
I hope they add a scene where maul senses the massacre of the nightsisters
i think the confusion lies in the fact that it's implied all the stories are set during imperial reign & yet the general died before that era
People donât think as much these days. đ€·ââïž
People don't think AT ALL these days. These youtubers do the thinking for them.
Well it may not be a flashback the episode might just be set during the clone wars when he was alive attacking the nightsisters
Some how Grievous returned
Somehow Grievous has returned.
Disney: somehow General Greivous survived
What I don't understand is why he has his Season 7 model for this when he didn't have his movie parts during this moment in The Clone Wars.
R.I.P Grievous Gang
âŹâŹâŹâŹâŹâŹâŹâŹ
Somehow Grievous returned.
I vote Grievous: A Star Wars Story Live Action Movie takes place in Comic Books, Video Games, TCWâs Unfinished Episodes CW 2003 and Chapter Book Memoirs
He could come back like in the comic
I mean lets be honestly, they brought back a couple of people from the grave like chewbacca, palpatine, asajj.
Since when did Chewbacca die? I know he died during the extended universe during the Yuuzang Vong War. But I don't recall any other instances
@@TimberlakeTigerGirl It was more so for episode nine where it was teased that chewbacca died only for him to be revealed to be alive in a couple scenes later
Well some how grievous returned
It's a flashback. It's not hard to figure out
@@TimberlakeTigerGirl OMG IT WAS A FKING JOKE...people these days take everything to seriousđ
@@theunpredictableone5379 Well people actually think Grievous somehow got revived. I swear Disney Haters, while they can have legit points, can become so brainless sometimes.
@@TimberlakeTigerGirl Your not wrong about this đ
erm actually, during the rein of the Empire, they re made Grivious into a droid and made him hunt to kill Jedi, he's called Jedi hunter Grivious
But no doubt thatâs from the EU, therefore not in canon.
Not canon
Ahem⊠đ€
Actually, that material is now designated as non-cannon due to a EU revamp when Disney acquired the rights to Star Wars.
@@mitchellbambam5926AHEMđ€đ€
I believe itâs spelled âcanonâ
Would have been funny for him to say that as a droid after the clone war like in legends
I think that the reason may be because the look of Grievous in the trailer is more accurate to RotS meaning that this particular scene is not from the original fight in Dathomir
It's the same attack, it's just a better animation
@@Auvas_Damask It was said that they were going to update the look of Grievous for the original 7th season 10 years ago because they wanted him to look more accurate to how he did in RotS to show how the time is getting closer and clone to Order 66.
Maybe blasters are now like lighsabers?
It wasn't very effective.
Am i the only one who's sad that General Greivous is never coming back.
It's really wierd but he's my fav character so...
đ„
This could be not even flashbacks, but real scene. Happening right now when story tells. Why flashbacks? Is Ahsoka in tails od jedi studying with troopers flashback?
I can confirm I am coming back. You are a bold one to assume I'm dead, hahaha! *cough*
The sad fact is that not very many people are watching Star Wars clone Wars. Theyâre watching everything else but not clone Wars and I think when it comes to Star Wars if you want to know everything connected to the prequels watch clone Wars.
Yeah, I'm as confused as you as to why people are confused lol. I know that wasn't a very intelligent sentence but I haven't had coffee yet đ the Massacre of Dathomir focused mainly on Ventress but there are many sisters caught up in the conflict. How anyone could not assume that Morgan was among them is beyond me.
Media illiteracy at its finest
I didnât know Greivous purged the entire planet of Dathomir I thought it was just that one village of women and that was it
I thought that it was a vision, Some Kind of a test
I thought it was obvious too when I first saw the trailer
No one's ever really gone
I love ur videos man
Remember when force unleashed released and everyone was confused how there was an African American clone trooperâŠ
yeah, that sucked
While true I still think we may see Grievous return as N-K Necrosis. But I would prefer they save it for third Jedi: Series game.
I know why grevious is dead, Iâm just confused as to why he is a main character/cameo to the tales of the empire, considering he is only part of the clone wars.
Because this episode takes place during the Clone Wars, when Dooku sent him to wipe out the Nightsisters
He was in charge of wiping out the Night Sisters. One of the characters we'll be following in the tales of the empire, is a nightsister.
No no this is the second attack on dathomir not the first, this taking place during the sons of Dathomir arc
What?
@@Isaacisaperson4677 Remember how there's a gap between Sidius killing Savage and capturing Maul in S5 and Maul suddenly back on Mandalore with his crumbling crime empire in S7?
There was an arc meant to fill in that gap on S6 but got canned because of the Disney buy out so it got adapted into a comic, Son of Dathomir. Turns out Sidius captured Maul to lure out Mother Talzin and eliminate her once and for all, by the end of the story on Dathomir Maul is forced to escape as Grievous skewers Talzin with two of his lightsabers and the droid army take over the planet once more. Since the story is confirmed to be canon there's a chance that Elsbeth's face off against Grievous could be on this second assault on Dathomir instead of the first one we saw in S4

I understood that and the only animated Star Wars I have watched is bad batch. How is this confusing?

This proves that a lot of people have not seen _Star Wars: The Clone Wars_ .
I know grievous is dead and I hate disney star wars. It's not hard to see.
Somehow, i returned
Technically, itâs not a flashback, itâs rather gonna be an episode from the time of the Clone Wars. The other two episodes regarding Morgan Elsbeth are gonna be 1) during Empire era when she and Thrawn first met and 2) after fall of the Empire and the establishment of the New Republic on planet Corvus, where her live action first appearance in Mandalorian season 2 took place. The same is gonna be with Barriss Offee story (but in her case itâs harder to pinpoint three exact moments in timeline based on the trailer. The same case was with Dooku and Ahsoka especially when action of all three episodes regarding certain character havenât taken place just one after another in the timeline, they were rather spread across the timeline. So it wonât be a flashback
Well I thought it was obvious
I mean, given how much characters cheat death in this series. Can you blame em for being skepticle?
Expecting Star Wars fans to pay attention to Star Wars? Impossible.

i had a similar problem to this when everyone complained about Reva from kenobi getting "stabbed with a lightsaber twice" when i thought it was quite obvious from the cut back and forth and identical framing that the "flashback" was just a visual metaphor to nod at the fact this is not the first time anakin had hurt her, the first being by killing her friends and fellow padawans and the second being a literal stabbing
Not really it was her remembering when Anakin did this before. This is not the same thing
@@Isaacisaperson4677 you're right in saying the topic of this video compared to that situation aren't the same, which is why I described this as a "similar problem". not because of the nature of the scene, but the way the fans perceived it. I thought the scene with Anakin stabbing young reva was quite clearly a visual metaphor for the pain he caused all the younglings during the attack and how it is running through her again when he actually stabs her later on. I'm 100% certain the show runners would not have gone all the way through the production process believing that a child could withstand a saber to the chest
Bruh
Don't be so online. People are morons.
It's pretty obvious that grievous died, and I don't like how much Disney fakes people's deaths, but seeing NK-Necrosis become cannon might be cool. And even cooler would IMO be an origin story movie/TV show đ€©
You do realize this is a flashback to the Massacre of the Nightsisters? That's not the same thing as straight up reviving someone.
@@TimberlakeTigerGirl I do, and I'm definitely not upset about this, but just in general with characters like Palpatine in the rise of Skywalker, and the fake outs with Sabene, the third sister, and grand Inquisitor I don't really like how it kind of takes away from the tension. But I love General Grievous and I'm really glad to see him come back (and from what it looks like in a more serious, and intimidating way which I also love)
Because people are stupid. đ€·ââïž
