Oh man, this friend Bill is in so much pain. I'm so sorry for him and the family.
I felt for his friend Bill so much: it's deeply unfair that he's spent so much of his lifetime blaming himself, and that so many others in their small town also seem to suspect him of involvement in Erik's death. It was so brave of him to agree to speak with Ana Garcia. I hope he finds peace somewhere.
Finding your child tortured and murdered in front of your house, what a nightmare. I can’t believe they got away with murder this long. I can’t imagine how anyone that was involved could just move on or even sleep at night…. I hope that all are petrified as Eric was.
I feel bad for Erik’s best friend… he’s the only one accused who is willing to speak and he genuinely looks torn up abt it versus the other lady who didnt even flinch when they asked her abt him. I hope his name gets cleared bc thats one hell of a thing to be accused of.

I didn't know about this man, you could be right. But sociopaths are often good actors who can cry convincingly at a moment's notice. I know one such very dangerous woman like this.
I'm not implying his friend was involved in any way, but tears stemming from a guilty conscience could be because you felt you should have been there, or because you were there.
You can kill someone and still cry! Especially when you think you are going to get busted!!
I pray Eric’s killers are brought to justice soon so his family, friends & the community can finally have answers & hopefully some justice!!
Kyle’s death was absolutely senseless & heartbreaking!! He was a young man who served our country in the military then went on to become a first responder serving his community & went above & beyond to help others in need!! God rest his soul & bless his family with strength!!!

I am 100% certain Amber is the ENTIRE reason that Erick is dead. With the response of "oh no that's okay... " the fact that she was ALL HAPPY in her response... There is NO DOUBT in my mind whatsoever and I'm always 100% right about who the murder is !!! Amber IS RESPONSIBLE for Ericks death. She is 100% guilty !!! I think most try to give honest and helpful tips. Only the criminals try to prevent justice. Humans have faulty eyes and memories. It's an important part of a detectives job.. to be able to sort through and find the real and useful evidence. That's what they do as investigators. If it happened, there's a trail and they will sniff out the right one.

It must have been unimaginable to wake up to a bang at the door and than having to find your oldest child dead on the side of road... the pain that the family had to feel it's just heartbreaking. I honestly hope that all the people involved are as terrified as much as Erik was. I also feel bad for his friend Bill was really torn up over Erik's death, he wants to find the people responsible for his friend's death
This was so sad. I lived north of Vicksburg at the time of the murder. I was in my senior year of h.s. at the time of the murder. 😢

This story was 9 years ago, they mentioned he would be 49, It is so unfair the ones that killed him got to live their lives before getting charged but it is good they got them. RIP Erik. 🙏❤️

What a horrific act. If she isnfound guilty, the death penalty is more than well deserved. We should not be wasting our tax dollars on two animals. Reminds me of another story.
The psychopath is usually the one who is way overreacting at funerals. I have unfortunately seen plenty of funerals where someone is widowed. It happens to everyone as time goes by. The spouce left behind usually goes into shock at the event and becomes very silent. I did see one where the wife could not help but smile, but I will always believe thay shebwas behind it. And yes, it was all about the lifestyle he provided, but without him. I spoke to the police about my concerns, but nothing came of it. Just about everyone in our field feels the same way.
