    These Maxxis tires have been excellent on my 1988 Hilux out here in the Mojave Desert California!✌️

    Hello
    I want to ask, I have an Isuszu D Max car that still uses standard tires from the dialer, I try to use a tire with a bigger size, but I have problems because the tire hits the car part (spakboard)
    what should i do to change it
    I want to do it myself at home, thank you in advance

    Does the tyre rub on the chassis rail on the rear of the front wheel well at full lock?

    Any rubbing at the front bumper? Im lifted 3" with 285/70/17 and it rubs like crazy upfront

    Did you have to chop anything out of the guards to get the 33s to fit?

    Is this the 2 - 4inch adjustable PSR TTG struts?

    Do you need to change gear ratio after use 35 on standard engine?

    Does it rub now??

    285 75 16 with a 2 inch lift? Those CVs are going to be screaming... not to mention the gear ratios. Looks tough though. Wouldn't go bigger than 265 75 personally in a Dmax. Also the factory offset on the Dmax is +33, so going to -13 is going to push the wheels out 46mm further out. That's a fair difference.

    What did you set the lift to ? 3 or 4 inch

    Do your front get full 2 inch lift or only 25 to 30mm lifted?

    • @lostrelospsi2205
      @lostrelospsi2205 Před 3 lety

      It seems a little nose down, but I think it has lifted more than 30mm.

    Can you get comprehensive insurance after this modification

    • @stratospur2100
      @stratospur2100 Před 2 lety +1

      Not likely. 285's they will rub or the caster will have to be adjusted too much. Also they are one size bigger than the allowed increase in tire diameter in Victoria anyway. Also there is a maximum total vehicle height of 75 mm or maybe as low as 50 mm from stock. wheel/tires and suspension upgrades combined cannot exceed these legal limits in total height without engineer certification or insurance will walk away. So a 40mm suspension upgrade leaves one with 30mm increase in tire diameter. on a D max that would be 265/75/16 or equivalent. maybe 275/70/17 will be ok but ask a pro fitter. Also the Diff drop featured here is not a real 30mm diff drop 6mm or 12mm is more precise. look up Mungie diff drop kits they are the real deal. Also upper control arms need to be upgraded to keep all the angles as close to factory as possible or better with the Mungie.

    Why do you call it a PSR lift kit when you use Bilstein shocks? Clearly this indicates that you didn't develop it.

    Is this legal

    • @outdoors5352
      @outdoors5352 Před 2 lety +1

      Nope, most States generally don't allow any bigger than about 50mm difference from factory specs.

    gonna answer any of these questions below bud….after all they are important and relevant….people spend big bucks on these lifts and tires to get their trucks the way they want… or put it this way… we know who NOT to come to for a suspension + tire mod !!
