  • A Nicaraguan band formed in 1970 by guitarist Roberto Martínez (a staunch follower of Carlos Santana) and percussionist Jaime Vanegas (ex-Los Jokers'). After two years of performing, they managed to sign a contract with CBS and record a self-titled album in Costa Rica. The catastrophic earthquake of 1972 destroyed the hopes of these magnificent musicians.

    Que hijueputa discazo. This is an amazing find. Thank you for uploading this treasure. The 1972 Nicaraguan Earthquake crushed the country in many ways...Santana played a Benefit concert in early 1973 next to the Stones courtesy of Bianca who wanted to support her home country.

    Yeah, it has some Santana vibes but also Frisco psychedelia and jazz fusion spirit. Powerful sound it has. It's sad to listen to the earthquake's aftermath thwarting these musicians' dreams. Thanks for sharing.

    Love the Latin jazz rhythm vibes of Santana. Great keys. Kind of funky, too.
    This LP could have caused the ground to shake. Terrible thing, that earthquake.
