  • How can civil society organisations do their part in holding Big Tech accountable? How can more African academics and young people participate in democratic processes and be heard in policy conversations? Join Natasha Kimani's conversation with Dr. Amina Salihu, Deputy Director of MacArthur Foundation Africa as they tackle this and many more issues.
As a political scientist, feminist, and international consultant on gender and policy, Dr. Amina Salihu holds a vision of a world where women and men are respected and regarded as equal partners in development. During her career in civil society, she has facilitated dialogues between government and civil society and round tables on women’s rights and empowerment in Nigeria and globally. She continues to work with communities of women, young people, and persons living with disabilities in innovative ways to create safe spaces where voices and energies connect for empowerment.
