Traditional Memon style Akni
Serves 6
4 tbs Oil
3 cinnamon sticks
2 bay leaves
1/4 tsp peppercorns
1/4 tsp cloves
1 tsp whole cumin
2 chopped onions
1kg lamb pieces on the bone
1 tbs garlic paste
1 tbs ginger paste
2 potatoes
400g Tomato passata
1 tbs puree
3 tsp Salt (to taste)
1 tsp Chilli powder (to taste)
1/4 tsp turmeric
2 tsp cumin powder
1 tsp coriander powder
2 cups Rice
4 cups of water
Coriander for garnishing
