In 196p at age 16 yrs I cycled the island on 3 days. No traffic on the coastal roads and it was a true paradise then, very safe and peaceful people. Do I miss this life of then.

Great vid ! Reminded me of the primary school bus excursion days: going around the island, stopping at various beaches for snack breaks. Way back into the 60's. Place names are familiar.

McDonalds had a notice on the newspapers to say that they are are having delivery issues for beef from South Africa and that's why there is countrywide stock out of beef.

No punctures, and only re-fueled up once

Great trip ! I think the number of places visited should be reduced to 4-5 to manage it in 12 hours. Many years back I did the coastal round Mauritius in a bus. We visited 4-5 coastal places. Left at 8 am, circled back at 8pm.
The bus trip sounds good, but I would love to do the whole trip over a week.

Great video. That was a nice drive around the island. Did you have to refuel along the way or you can drive around the island with one full tank? So how many hours did it take you to drive around the island.
We got home at 19h30, and we still had 1/2 a tanks, it took a long time, but was only 200km

The worst country to visit, I regreted wasted money to stay 2 weeks there, worst place on earth, full of scam and slump. this is my opinion.
