Location A, its not intrusive but still catches my eye when it appears since the light blue text contrasts a lot better with asphalt/other ground colors in location A as compared to the sky in locations B and C

They're great when I catch them. But I do often multitask with these videos, so I now miss them when doing chores or whatnot.
I’m going to vote for Location D. Put the comments right over Broughy and see how long it takes him to notice.

The Dukes is named for The Dukes of Hazzard. And them there Duke boys were always taking the General Lee down dirt roads, off road & air born. Hence, why it’s in the Grapeseed race.

The "known unknowns" thing is originally from a Donald Rumsfeld interview, its very cryptic and creepy.
"Unknown unknowns" and "known unknowns" were coined by former secretary of defense Donald Rumsfeld in 2002, referring to Iraq's supposed weapons of mass destruction.
Location A: Easiest to see but not in the way. Also looks nice next to the minimap!
C might be a little better than A, B's definitely last though
Hey Dinmite. I saw a lot of your edits before I noticed the subtle blue text, so it has always felt like a whisper to me.
If you keep the color I think it needs to be location A since the background in the other positions are often brighter.

Location A has always been the perfect spot. Out of the way, and also in a perfect spot to catch the eyes, since I'm sure a lot of other people watch for the map, as well. Keep up what you're doing, DiNmiTe!

Location A, though I'd love the text to be slightly more towards the center and in a bit bigger font as I have trouble spotting and reading the text due to being blind (tunnel vision). Good work with the editing/comments in any case. EDIT: Since I'm listing subjective wishes: leaving the text on-screen for a bit longer too would be swell.

I would also say location A, as I find myself looking at the cars the most so it’s closest in peripheral vision

I'd go with option A, although I'd align it with the top of the minimap rather than the bottom. This will bring it slightly more into the sight line while still benefiting from the road contrast for the blue text. It would also generally place it above the captions for anyone who has those turned on.
Yes your Marshall was flying the Australian Flag and had our colors of Green and Gold on it.

Option A, Dinmite. I couldn't even tell where B&C were until you put the "let me know" bit up. The road usually being black/grey helps the contrast
i like location C because its just under the webcam and my brain goes into subtitle mode a little easier. you can sorta see boughy and read at the same time, instead of looking away from both him and the car on screen.
While location B would work for spacing; unless its done in a likely too intrusive color, I think it'd be just drowned out by the sky and then also whenever passing by stuff. Location A still catches our eyes, has the most consistent backgrounds for the text and makes sense when seeing the top 5 color coding. C is kinda bad since its already kinda full on the right side already.

I often dont see the subtitles, since they are at THE very bottom.
Somewhere left side above minimap maybe would be perfect, or location C.
Location A is perfect I wouldn't notice them anywhere else.
To be fair i remember in gt5 the nz and aus flag basically were the same since the icon for the flags in the lobby was tiny
Dinmite you need to start to bleep him out then he repeats himself. Replace those repeats with random words.
The person the obliterated you at the 1:03 mark had a tag of "Fido". We have no way of knowing he took you out on purpose but it sure appears that he used you as a brake. At the 1:20 mark, you took a quick look behind and Fido was indeed behind you at that point so it appears he did wait.
A for sure as it catches the attention, but B is a definite second... for life.
Location A is more noticeable, I think we all look often at the map haha, location B will be accidentally ignored from time to time.
Among the choices I prefer B. I watch with [auto] subs and the captions cover texts on A (on desktop at least). C kinda looks like Broughy is saying it.
Maybe the location above the minimap would be a good option as well. :)
I estimate the punt cost you about eight seconds, and the spin about four seconds. So 6th, maybe verging on 5th would have been the optimal finish position.
I would say Dinmite commentary in A is great C could work. I feel like B would be lost in the sky a fair amount of the time. I like the comments.

I would have liked Known Unknown race more if there was an option to enable custom vehicles. The original transform races were a good reason to own vehicles I rarely use.
I'm not getting any blue dots for exotic export cars n i don't know why they've stopped for me!! Any ideas how to remedy this?????

If you have to add the text bits, location A is the only place did notice them. TBH, though, I wouldn't miss them.
Location A is a good place, it’s subtle and it’s not taken anything from the video.
Location A for side comments. It’s real nice.
For me personally on random races / gfreds id have chat in location c and the comments in location b. For everything else id keep it as is

Location A. I don’t know if anyone else has this issue but half of it is always cut of at the bottom. So would be nice to have it up slightly higher but that’s probably my problem.
Could experiment with different fonts aswell.
Yup that's Australian flag. Makes sense since the Cheval Marshall is of Australian origin (Holden HK Ute).
Green and gold colors too, very fitting.

Not surprised that New Zealand kept its knock off Australia flag.
The laser kiwi was not an option in the referendum.
Instead, only the rather corporate looking silver fern flag was offered as an alternative to the old flag,
and it had already lost opinion polls before to both the "keep the current flag" and the "change, but to something else" options.
Location A is acceptable but I personally prefer top left corner, or Location B.
I would prefer location B, but the text colour will appropriately contrast the background.

Surely they could have given this a better name that the Unkown known knowing the unknowns whatever is called.
Feedback: I likethe texts, they are fun, they fit the purpose. I still have my doubts about the location. Maybe if it's on the top right of the minimap we could pick easier with the corner of our eyes? Could be an experiment but i also understand that it could get in front of the leaderboard in some cases. Just leave the way it is. It's fine. Cheers :D

Probably just keep the text where it is. I like option C but it could get a little too cluttered if you needed to write out something long. B just draws too much attention from the actual race imo

Hi Dinmite! Location A is best. Location C makes the words become Broughy's, Location B seems a bit out of eyesight. One suggestion I do have is to introduce yourself at the start ("edited by Dinmite" or something) so that it's obvious to those who don't know that Broughy isn't making these weird comments to himself. Thanks!

location A. Also, maybe lower the frequency a little bit. Some of the jokes feel a little unnecessary. The commentary has to be worth splitting the viewer's attention. Keep up the good work though.
i do try to limit the comments, but the cliche of "it all comes together at the end" is said so much in random selects that i have to mention it

Instantly after hitting him, look at the minimap when Brough respawns, the one blip that's stationary was Fido
he sat on the outside of the turn while broughy respawned, when broughy looks backwards on that straight you can literally see fido right behind him at 1:19
