what are those stirrup leathers called? i've never seen ones like that before

these are mono stirrup leathers. You can find them at any brand actually, there are many manufacturers. Mine are Wintec. Mono leathers are really comfortable because you have no buckle between you and the saddle

Well, they are at no use to dressage competitions, as they are not allowed there… and that it just stupid..
