I like how they draw straight clean filament lines fast when you actually have to extrude it very slow.
That fork part could be dangerous if kids try out that 😲
Yeah it's crazy how much of their stuff is just video editing tricks.

@@PotentPrintables you have to wait for 30 seconds to dry and then you can eat with it kids can try it 🙂 it safe because it is made for kids I saw on Amazon
Not just kids, unless the plastic is food safe its not safe to put anywhere near your mouth
@@sunshinekind9711 it depends on what pen and plastic u use, not all pens are safe for kids ie most get way to hot for kids to be using and the plastic used def isn't safe to put in your mouth unless a foodsafe plastic exists which I dont think does for these pens
I could see the "concrete clothes" idea being interesting for mixed-media sculpture
I think that heel trick used fake legs to make it look like you can walk in them 🤣
5:28 There are clear supports under the filament layer very likely made from a two part clear acrylic. It's difficult to see but the light is refracting differently in portions of the heel.

OMG your commentary and reactions to all these hacks are hilarious. They really are ridiculous ideas for 3D pen creations!
I know this is 3 years old. But after recently getting a pen and looking for ideas to try. I came across their videos and thought EXACTLY THE WAY YOU'RE SAYING! 🤣 🤣
1. When she was sitting on the chair her weight was on the chair frame. 2. When she was in the heels her weight was clearly on her toes. 3. That is the most common way high heeled shoes break it is very plausible. The pair you got were more sturdy but some high heels break really easily. This all the movie tropes.

Thankyou so much for doing this, your reactions pretty much mirror my own. 5 minute crafts seem to think that a 3d pen is as magic as a sonic screwdriver and will stick to everything and is supper strong.

one before but yeah thats actually quite a funny thing to try,
I think 5 minutes created new filament. The CONCRETE FILAMENT!! It sustains over 100 pounds with just 12 lines of plastic!!

5:15 you can even see that they supported the filament with something glossy, maybe glass

At 8:27-Yes, somebody wants a concrete raincoat hanging on the wall. Went to a museum exhibit of "found art" up in NYC. Pots and pans, old laundry, half eaten food were on display (yeah, they were gonna auction the "installation".) I'm walking around, waiting for my then girlfriend to finish looking serious about this...stuff. I wander over to a rain coat hanging on the wall, looking for the tag telling me the piece was titled "raincoat on the wall", when a guard came up and grabbed the coat, because he got to escape this event to go out and guard the parking lot or something, and it was raining. so much for looking cool.

Even if the fork didn't break off in your mouth the plastic used for 3d pens is not food grade safe so u def shouldn't eat off it unless u are using food grade safe plastics (which idek if that exists)

The heels they show as a “finished product” have a clear plastic or glass heel inside the hideous mess of filament.
Well at least the concrete blanket will work a bit better than the 3d pen :D

The knob one on here could work if u made the pyramid on a threaded stud I think
there is a transparent plastic heel inside the 3d pen structure

My Grandchildren watch that channel a lot... I hate that it convinces them that these are easy and successful crafts. They try to do it and it fails and they feel like they failed and that they can't do anything right. No wonder people have confidence issues...

yes, my ikea cabinet did not come with any type of handeles
Is it to late to tell 5-min craft that concrete cracks when in thin layers
Whell I mean the bendable fabric with multiple thick areas the concrete cant get to will surely add to the stability not to mention who doesn't love sitting on a non smooth concrete chair that could have been a normal chair

Some cars have plugs inside, but you could also use a battery pack.
I dunno if they exist but 3d pens that charge instead of wire connecting them to a energy source
I have a 3Dmynt pro. Any suggestions for a similar pen that supports cordless? Or, are there ANY 3D Pens that can be cordless and recommendable?
I haven't seen any that are cordless. That would be a sweet feature!

Ah yes, 3D pen filament and concrete fabric. Two of the sturdiest and best things to make stuff out of. Also I can't remember how many times I've thrown my soap by accident and it ends up halfway across the world in someones bowl of corn flakes *every time.* (Love the vids my dude, can't wait to try your tutorials to get used to making *real* 3D pen stuff)

I seen one this little kid was like davinvici and the pen name was that they few thing he made were crazy he made a while dole house a tabby bear bank and other cram its crazy
Some of them were neat but some are really dumb
They are using pla filament , which os quite stronger than abs
Pla is still not strong enough to support your body weight so the point still stands
No this video is not true I tried these all and why did it work
And the fork when I like the fact when she takes out her mouth she's not even worried about that she could have swallowed a piece of fork and this is not a good idea cuz if kids try this or even if you're an adult tries this like a choke on it breaking off the end of the forks and stuff is very flimsy
Why don't you use a hot air blower to smoothen 3 d pen crafts

I'm not concrete jacket the old one would be a nice decoration for like a seafood restaurant cuz it's a fisherman's yellow looking exactly they were on the boats it's catch crabs shrimp fish whatever

5 Minute crafts has a lot of questionable content, and I hope there are not a lot of easy to influence kids or teenagers that actually try it out. I really don't want to know how much damage was already made by people trying out their fancy crafting ideas.
5 minute crafts should be renamed to 5 minute lawsuit cause alot of the garbage they do, not only can but will get you sued in the drop of a hat for attempting because of how dangerous they are.
How is any of this a "HACK"?
It probably broke in middle and she un screwed it before video and lied in all vids glad you did it to show me this stuff doesn't work
