  • Since no two faces are the same we think that the product used and technique should always be personalised! For better or for worse there are hundreds of dermal fillers on the market in the UK and these differ markedly in quality 👀 so don't be fooled into thinking they're all the same! Dr Amel goes through the different types of dermal fillers we use for tear troughs, lips, wrinkles, cheeks and the jaw/chin and explains why!

    Hi Dr. Amel..I got redensity under my tear troughs after having my 6 year under filler dissolved with hyaluronidase. It has been 10 days and under 1 eye I see a bit of the Tyndall effect. I had 0.4 mL under each eye. I am seeing my injector on Tuesday. In your experience with using redensity, have you seen patients with the Tyndall effect after redensity in the tear trough area? My injector told me it is possible with massage that once the filler is settled that the Tyndall effect may dissapear? Thank you!

      Hi Marcella, thank you so much for reaching out and sorry that you’re going through this. Tyndall’s can happen with any filler and even though it’s less common with Redensity 2 I’ve seen happen from time to time. We would normally massage the filler as soon as possible (before it’s settled in) and more often than not this resolves the problem. If it doesn’t then we would generally try to spot dissolve the filler if that doesn’t make things better then we would dissolve it all and redo it. The last bit is rare but I just wanted to let you know how we would typically manage this. Speak with your practitioner and ask them what the plan would be after massaging if it doesn’t settle down.

    Are you familiar with Ultrafill deep by Cosmo Korea? Is that a good brand

    • @CitySkinClinic
      @CitySkinClinic  Před 6 měsíci

      Hello! I’m afraid this isn’t a brand I’m familiar with so I have no idea if it’s any good. As a general rule, I recommend sticking with better known brands like Juvederm, Teosyal, Restylane etc just because they’ve been around for a long time and have an established safety record.

    Is there a specific website I can get lip injection products in.

    • @CitySkinClinic
      @CitySkinClinic  Před 2 lety

      Hi Yesenia, to buy reputable and genuine brands of lip filler you will need to be a licensed medical practitioner and have completed the training courses. With that info, the pharmacies that sell them and the suppliers will create an account for you and you can purchase them.

    • @CitySkinClinic
      @CitySkinClinic  Před rokem +1

      Hey darling I don't believe AMIEYES is a dermal filler. I had a look and its a mesotherapy cocktail that's supposed to stimulate your tissues to produce collagen which plumps up the skin. We don't offer mesotherapy at the clinic so I don't know how effective it is. With regards to undereye filler, I personally prefer Teosyal Redensity II and its the only filler we use in that area at City Skin Clinic.

    What is the best filler for nose bridge?

    • @CitySkinClinic

      It really depends on the goals of the treatment. Our doctors normally use Voluma and sometimes Volux depending the case!

      I’m afraid I haven’t heard of this brand before. I looked it up and it looks like it’s hyaluronic acid based but unfortunately I can’t say if it’s good or not as I don’t know much about the brand. Do you know anyone who’s had it?

    whats best for neck LINE

    • @CitySkinClinic
      @CitySkinClinic  Před rokem

      Sorry I somehow didn't see this message Mengyin. It depends on how deep the lines are and what your skin is like but we generally use Juvederm ultra 4, Volift or Voluma based on how deep the lines are. Sometimes we combine this with Profhilo and/or Botox.

    • @CitySkinClinic
      @CitySkinClinic  Před 4 měsíci

      Great question. I can’t comment on revolax as we’ve never used it at City Skin Clinic. We preferred brands like Juvederm, Teosyal and Restylane because they’ve been around for a really long time hence have a long established safety record.

      It really depends on what you need it for. We prefer Teosyal redensity 2 for under eyes, Juvederm and belotero for lips, Tosyal RHA2 for smokers lines and Juvederm for the rest of the face and neck (can be ultra 4, volift, voluma or volux depending on area).
