Her "Say Something" on this show was an emotional performance that she had to come up with when the show thought that the audience (who are the voters) wouldn't know her original song choice. For a jazzy KZ performance, see her duet with Jaya on "Feeling Good". Also on Singer 2018 Tengri's "Heaven", which besides his dynamic control, and the intro with the harmonic overtone singers, is also worth seeing for the look on Hua Chenyu's face.
KZ's real strengths are soul, rhythm and blues, and jazz. she diverted herself into these music genre after her vocal chord related operation way back then, since she couldn't sing money notes anylonger.
she does her own music arrangement with the help of her music director, and she can play guitar, keyboard, and trumpet i guess.
if you want to hear her jazz ability, u can check out her carpenter's close to you cover.
pop ballad? she has a great big world's say something cover, still in this 2018 singer music competition, along with whiz khalifa's see you again, and sheryl crow's real gone.

Pour moi c'est sa plus belle performance de ce show singer 2018 mais bizarrement elle a été éliminée après cette performance . Vous avez raison KZ et Hua chenyu ont ce pouvoir d'interprétation et de réinventer les chansons . D'ailleurs je les voyais en finale mais bon on ne peut pas refaire l'histoire . Merci pour la réaction .😊
