  • Concussion symptoms and mental health can be very interconnected, especially when you can't see the symptoms on the outside. Today, ‪@CristabelleBraden‬ interviews Bella on her journey with 10+ concussions and trying to hide her symptoms at first and pretending like nothing was wrong. This led to depression, which Bella openly shares with us today in a candid and inspiring conversation.

Bella is a brain injury advocate. After sustaining over ten concussions and experiencing post-concussion syndrome for years, she hit a low spot and attempted to take her own life. After going to therapy, Bella knew she needed to do something for all those suffering from this invisible injury. She started Post Concussion Inc because she wanted to aid not only individuals who have suffered from concussions but also their families and friends.

Omg, brain injury flare up... I didn't know that was a thing.... but I certainly experienced this... I can go strong for 4 straight days, and on the 5 days, it feels like my brain completely shut down no matter how much meds I take... no matter how many RED Bulls I drink... nothing gets me up....

Thank you guys so much for this. I have had 3 concussions in under a year and I have been struggling with severe anxiety and mild depression. Every day feels like an uphill battle and I have been looking for people that understand what I am going through. It gave me hope to know that things do get better!
